Gresham Ford - Gresham Oregon

by RedbirdKat on 04/10/2017

I decided to lease a new car and the sales team was wonderful. There was no pressure. They made sure to show me what I wanted and didn't try to get me into something that I didn't want just to make a higher sale.

Satisfied Customer

by happymama4 on 09/19/2016

Interesting reading of a few reviews by a few customers, Having been in business before, we have encountered customers that could not be satisfied regardless of what you did to resolve any problems. Frankly, we have had nothing but great experiences in dealing with Gresham Ford. Our first was a 95 Ranger....handed down to our Grandson and still going strong with over 200,000 miles on it. The second was a 250 Super Duty Diesel (2007) that pulled our camper, hauled rocks, mulch and was also used as our only vehicle. The truck got excellent mileage, and we never had any problems with it. After selling the camper we decided we could go back to a smaller vehicle. Went back to Gresham Ford and dealt with Sam Rich, Preston, and AJ. They went above and beyond to see that everything went great as we purchased a new Escape (Titanium) that we are loving to drive.

Gresham ford the dealer without a heart

by Gzink0007 on 09/16/2016

Very disrespectful and rude. Played games and beat around the bush. Finally did make a deal on a 2016 ford fusion energi it lacked some features i wanted but i let it slide. The issues really started once I bought it. I have owned it 9 mo now and have had to take it back to the dealer 4 times. Everyone there was rude and called me a liar to my face about issues that are still not resoved on my car. They are not helpfull and by far the worst car buying expirence I have ever had. I think of myself as a ford guy but gresham ford has ruined that for me forever.

Gresham Ford best customer service

by Realistrs on 08/03/2016

Gresham Ford blew me away with their customer service. I was in the market for one of those new hot hatches. The Ford Focus RS. However I was late to the game when it came to ordering one. I must of called at least 7 Ford dealerships. 4 of those 7 laughed in my face and basically said "good luck buddy." 2 of them informed me that they were all allocated for but they could put me on a 16 person wait list. I nearly gave up when I decided to give Gresham Ford a try. When I told them what I was looking forward they said it'd be tough but they'd work on it. About 15 minutes later I got a call back and they found me one! I ordered my RS in March and I picked it up the last week of July. As you can guess those four months I was very excited and the Sales Manager Van Austin very kindly called me with weekly updates. He always made sure I was happy. And when the car arrived Van even came in on his day off so I didn't have to wait another day to get my car. I drove away extremely happy and I'd recommend Gresham Ford to anyone in the market for a vehicle!

Save the bad news till the end.

by unhappy140 on 05/18/2016

Actually a good dealer to deal with till the end. Getting ready to leave with out slightly used car that we paid cash for and asked for the second set of ignition keys..."oh, we only have one set and another key will cost $250.00". Too late to back out of the deal.

Gresham Ford, THE best choice

by WaynenTeresa on 06/02/2015

The folks at Gresham Ford offered patience, consideration, information and guidance during our search for a vehicle to meet our expectations and needs. My wife had entirely different concerns, questions and expectations from me, yet all of Gresham Ford's folks were willing and able to listen, consider answer and resolve all of our inquiries without pressure or that dreaded 'tag team's sales gimmic that has become a hallmark of car buying. From the fellow who prepped our Escape to Beth herself, all whom we had the need or occasion to speak and work with were sincere an eager to help. If there is one consistent characteristic I am most struck by from our car-buying experience it is the genuine, sincere nature of all of these folks. Beth Wills and those there at Gresham Ford have put honesty and good character into the automotive sales and service industry.

used car purchase

by stuebel on 02/03/2015

your staff worked the numbers so that I was able to get into a Ford focus owing much less than I expected and with a car having far less miles than my trade. Over the years I have purchased a number of cars and this was by far the best car buying experience ever. On a related note I have to say that with all the experiences I have had with salespeople as a customer and as a salesman, back in the day, Billy May is without a doubt the best I have ever met. Truly a man with a heart and genuine concern for his customers. Maybe it’s the good old Texas hospitality but he is definitely a person one could call a friend. In other words, if there were Academy Awards for sales people and auto dealerships you would win hands down.

excellent experience

by shawnnboni on 02/01/2015

I bought a 2015 Toyota 4 Runner from Matt and Dan. The customer service was exceptional! I shopped around for several weeks and I received the very best deal from Matt. He made my buying experience one that I will not forget. Zero stress or pressure to add anything or buy something that I wasn't interested in. I will recommend Gresham Toyota to my family and friends and will always shop there first in the future.

Expedition purchase

by Geaz21 on 01/09/2015

AJ at Gresham Ford was very helpful. We purchased an Expedition King Ranch sight unseen. It was a 2014 that they had floored it for quite a while. The negotiations over the phone were straight forward. We feel good about the purchase and got the vehicle well below invoice, $1,500 less than another dealer quoted us on a similar vehicle. Gresham Ford delivered the vehicle in less than 24 hours to Spokane WA, 400 miles from their facility as part of the deal. It was washed and had a full tank of gas. Straight forward and easy to deal with. We feel good about the deal and were treated fair. The service was excellent!

This dealer does not acknowledge invoice pricing numbers from Ford

by oldguy1950 on 11/22/2010

After shopping on Edmunds and asking for local quotes, I was contacted by salesman, Steve Renner, who claimed to be their internet sales person. Steve sent me a sticker with MSRP pricing including a bottom line total that obviously reflected a $995 dealer markup, although that item was not listed or labeled. He then claimed that the sticker price was from Ford and refused to explain the $995 discrepancy between the item totals and the bottom line total. When I explained to him that his numbers were inconsistent with the invoice pricing I was getting from Edmunds, he responded, "Evidently Edmunds who does not own Ford Motor Company does not have the acurate numbers based on dealer invoices. If you want to go off Edmunds calculations, you will not get a Fiesta." All of my communications were via email. After all, this is the point of an internet transaction, right? It saves time and levels the playing field. You don't have to leave home and waste time being jerked around and humiliated in a showroom by a professional tag team of negotiators. I did not even want to test drive the Fiesta until we had agreed to a fair price. After the sleazy feeling of my experience with Steve at Gresham Ford I went back to the drawing board. I searched and found another dealer outside the Portland metro area and discovered that there are dealers who acknowledge that Edmunds has the correct invoice numbers. I purchased my new Fiesta from Five Star Motors in Aberdeen, WA, at Edmunds invoice pricing (plus the cost of a full tank of gas and some shared sales incentive holdback dollars which shows up on the build order from Ford). They were very transparent about all of the pricing. My total cost added up to a couple hundred dollars below Edmunds TMV. And, since I live in Washington, the dealership took care of all the licensing, registration, taxes, and title transfer for me.
