We purchased a 2005 Mercedes C230 Kompressor from Jackie Cooper Imports on 8/02/2008 with 69 miles. When we purchased the car it came with a Mercedes Benz manuf. warranty up to 50,000 miles. We have has the car serviced at Jackie Cooper Imports. We have had the oil changed at Jackie Cooper Imports, and have changed the oil ourselves. At 48,200 miles the car wouldn't start. We had the car towed to Jackie Cooper Imports. After a week, we were informed that there is no compression, and the engine is blown. It should be covered under the manuf. warranty because we are still under the 50,000 mile mark. Jackie Cooper Imports has denied repairs to the car. After 4 months of dealing with this company we ended up picking up our car, and had to pay them for the tow, and for inspecting the car. We asked for a copy of the vehicle history reports. They don't even show our car having the oil changed. The reports also show us only driving the car about 500 miles in 1 year and 8 months. They are supposed to document the mileage when the car comes in to be serviced. I drive this car everyday to work and back. If I just drove it to & from work 4 days a week, that would be 6400 miles. We know they have altered the records. It is going to cost us 12,000. for a new motor.
