They just ignore you

With the challenges of a global pandemic being able to handle most of your needs over the phone and email is more important than ever these days for the my safety as well as the safety of the staff at the dealership which makes this so much the worse. I contacted the David Stanly Dodge about a truck that I was interested in purchasing from their used inventory, the online sales rep, Mauricio was nice enough and was able to get me information about the truck that I was looking at purchasing. When I decided to move forward with the purchase Mauricio sent me a finance application which I filled out as well as discussed desired payments and all the usual stuff. After filling out the finance application early that day I did not hear back from him for a full 24 hours despite me reaching out several times for an update. I get it, we all get busy so I understand not being able to respond right away but it's what happens next that makes it worse. After the first 24 hours he was finally able to get back to me and needed some more information for the application, I think to myself, ok, well its already been 24 hours it would have been nice to know you needed this sooner to speed up the process but oh well, I oblige and send him the requested information. After sending him the information it's another FULL 24 hours before I hear back, again, despite several attempts to contact him to get an update. Now, here is where it really goes downhill. When I finally hear from him again this is 48 hours after I told him I wanted to move forward with the purchase I hear back again. Again , he asked for more information that he needed for the finance application. I provide the information again, this time expressing my concern to him how long the process is taking with him taking at least 24 hours between contacts. He assured me he would work on it quickly and get back with me. No, I don’t hear back from Mauricio for 2 FULL DAYS. I send him several messages and call him several time but he never answers or responds back. Finally on the 3rd day I get fed up and email the dealership to express my concerns that’s my sales rep hasn’t been communicating with me. The person who replied Jenny, fired off a quick generic sounding reply, thanking me for letting her know and that she would let her manager know. Again I don’t hear anything for another FULL 24 hours. After 24 hours of again no contact I send another email to Jenny expressing my concerns that I still have not heard back from anyone and just expressed my overall frustration with the situation, how I felt that I was not being treated well and that I didn’t think I was being valued as a customer. I get another email back from a different person, Katrina this time. She provided me with her number and I called her to see where we stood with things. Katrina was borderline Rude on my call with her, she told me that the truck that I was interested in had been sold the prior day. I let her know I was disappointed that missed out the truck I wanted and that had my sales rep been able to get with me in a reasonably timely manner I would not have missed out on the truck and been able to make the purchase. Her response was so upsetting that I almost hung up the phone right then and there, her response was basically "it is what it is, nothing we can do" there was absolutely nothing apologetic in her tone at all. She then began to talk about being in person vs online like they only care about their in-person customers. There is a GLOBAL PANDEMIC that constitutes a serious health risk for everyone and you make absolutely no efforts whatsoever to make your customers who are trying to be safe and responsible take care as much of the paperwork stuff before coming in to limit face to face exposure. *end mini rant* Now near the end of this call she tells me that they have several over trucks available and asked when I can come down to the dealership to look at them. For reasons listed above this was obviously an enraging question, again insinuating that they only care about your business if you are in person risking your health and safety. I asked her if she can tell me about what other vehicles they have that would work for me and she just goes " I don’t know, I'll have to look and get back with you" ready to just be done with this conversation I just said OK and ended the call, now, here we are SEVERAL hours later and I haven't heard a peep from anyone.

Terrible

Had an agreed on price for a truck. They said would have all the paperwork ready when I got there. Drove two hour from Tulsa down there. They even texted me photos of the truck on the way down. When I arrived the truck was sitting out front. The salesman tried to divert me and show me other trucks. He finally told me they already sold the truck I went to get. Spoke with manager Austin and basically he said all they care about is making money and don’t care about the customer. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time talking to them. Also found out that when you call you are not actually talking to a salesman. It’s just someone that will say anything to get you to the store. Terrible!!!!!!!!

Worst experience!

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! WORST DEALERSHIP I’VE DEALT WITH! Long story short, bought a truck, negotiated to have a bed liner and gooseneck hitch added. Wife went to pick up the truck a few days later; they installed a 5th wheel hitch. We refused it, they blamed a “misunderstanding”. Installed the gooseneck a few days later, sent pictures to us. It was incomplete, no trailer plug in the bed, they assumed we’d use the plug under the bumper. Finally fixed it, 2 weeks after the purchase. Talked to the sales director, said they wanted to make it right, offered window tint, then declined to have it installed. They delivered the truck, but we were missing a key. Someone in service held on to it, over a month after the purchase, we still don’t have the second key. Stay away, they’re incompetent, [non-permissible content removed], have poor customer service, and only have interest in your money. It’s been a complete nightmare dealing with them. Be careful when they use their tag line, “we’ll make it right”. Don’t buy into that, it’s BS. I spent days trying to get a manager to deal with this, took two weeks, even then the sales director just deflected it.

deceptive and unethical

I was told I was approved for a vehicle (on multiple occasions), signed all of the paperwork and was given the vehicle to take home. Almost a month later, I was told financing was not yet approved and I had been lied to. I was tricked into believing I needed to go to the dealership to sign new finance paperwork. When I arrived at the dealership, they informed me they were taking the car back. Unless you want to be lied to and have your new car taken back without warning, avoid this place at all costs.

False advertising

If you do a google search for Jeep Wrangler there are lots of options around the OKC metro. Once I narrowed down what I wanted David Stanley had the lowest price. I called to make a visit and was told the stock number advertised was available. I drove 20 miles over to dealership, was shown several models trying to get me to steup in price and was told they would get back to me on purchasing the next day. After several phone calls they girl finally told me Jeep didn't even make the model advertised. I asked for GM to call me which was 3 days ago and no response. They wasted my time so I advising you not to let them waste yours.

This is our first car purchase in the state of Oklahoma, we are originally from Miami, FL. My fiancé and I first went to the dealership Thursday (June 30th) to explore our options for a jeep wrangler, the salesman proceeded to talk to us about some of the jeeps in the lot, showed us 2 of them and every question of an add on we had his answer was “you can get that after market”. About an hour in we were told to hold on and the salesman left, he didn’t come back for 2-3hrs, at this point we walked out of the place because we just couldn’t wait any longer. The next day, Friday (July 1st) we decided to go back and give them a second opportunity since the jeep my fiancé wanted was there, this time we approached the only salesman who was on the floor at the present time, he, along with a sales manager apologized for the poor service in our first visit. After a few hours of shopping, we sat down to talk numbers, the original price was $29,400 advertised on their website, the sales manager told us that the price we had just seen the day before was part of an offer that had ended that same day, also that because of the financing we chose he had to take “some added-on rebates” off in order to obtain better interest rates (9-11% w/ rebates and 2-5% w/o). So now the jeep is $36,660. All along this process the sales manager is assuring us he would not bank shop unless we had some kind of credit problem (which we did not)– this was a big lie because we now have 4-5 hard inquiries on our credit report. Now we are at the closing of the deal, the sales manager was very rude and degrading when it came to negotiating, questioning our finances with comments like “what’s $11 more? What difference could it make?– followed by “$11 could mean something different to you than $11 to me” which is completely unacceptable, as if we were being ridiculous for arguing about an $11 difference for a monthly payment. At this point it was almost 11pm, we are now receiving the car, not being told at all how anything works on it, and we were extremely exhausted, the salesman Calvin Williams was kind enough to help us drive the new car home, we were told to come back the next day for a detailing wash. The next day we returned to the dealership, not greeted by anyone, the salesman asked us for the keys without even saying hello/good morning, we waited about 2 hours, we then received the car basically in the same condition, the side panels had liquid residue, one tinted window has bubbles, the roof of was dirty, and the car wasn’t even properly dried, we were given our keys back and sent on our way, again, no one ever telling us how anything worked in the car. Today is Wednesday and we were surprised by the fact that in order to obtain tags for the new car we need to pay $1,300 in taxes, and registration fees, not once was the sales manager kind enough to inform us of this or even give us the option to include it in the financing given the fact that he knew we were new to the state. We called and asked for the customer relations manager (Robert Johnson), we were told to go ahead and come in to see him, upon our arrival we are told by the same sales manager who worked with us on our purchase that the customer relations manager was out for back surgery. The sales manager proceeds to argue with us and accuse us of “not doing our research” and saying that it was not his problem we didn’t know, he had nothing to say about the multiple inquiries in our credit score, he asked if we wanted another car wash and if we wanted him to see if the $1,300 could be included in the financing (of course raising our monthly payments), we said no, he literally walked away from us. This is the worst customer service we have experienced in many years, I would not recommend anyone to purchase anything from this dealership, these people are just mean and lack any form of customer service, they will lie straight to your face and make you feel like your $36,660 is not worth a second of their time.

Pushy, kept our keys so we couldn't leave!!!!!!!!!!

They like to waste your time. We went in with a trade. They took our keys to appraise the vehicle and wouldn't give them back. They came to us with ridiculous offer after ridiculous offer. They asked how much of a payment we wanted as soon as we sat down. The first offer he came back with was double the amount we told him. Double! My mortgage payment for a car, a Dodge Journey no less. No thanks. Got up to leave and couldn't get our car keys back without another guy coming in with another ridiculous offer. At this point we still had not been told what they wanted to give us for trade in, or even the price of the car we were buying. We get told the price of the car,which was msrp. I told them that's way more than what I was looking at online. Like $6000 more. They said well we can get you into a lesser trim for that price. No, it's advertised online for this price for this trim. Well I was then told I can't have the sale price because my credit isn't good enough for the sale price. So went to leave again. Still wouldn't give our keys back. Came back with another offer we didn't like, and also proceeded to tell us that there was another customer there buying the car we were looking at. got up to leave, walked to the door, stood there about 10 minutes while they "went to get our keys". Came back with no keys. But with another offer. This was better and we went with it. On their website they advertise $250 towards tag tax license. I asked for it, was told no, because I got the ad price on the vehicle. I paid msrp!!!!!!! I didn't get the ad price but they wouldn't give me the $250 they had advertised on their website. He said I could get a free oil change though, but never got anything about it. So that's probably not going to happen. We get in to sign and the amount down I agreed to pay had been raised. By this time it was almost 11pm. We had our little boy with us, we were tired and agitated. We sign our papers and leave. I'm not happy with my purchase at all!!! The tactics they used were ridiculous. I've bought vehicles before. Fowler Honda and Fenton Nissan were great to work with. This place was terrible. After we leave we stop at a gas station to get a drink, we are standing by the car talking before we go in. I look over to notice that this brand new car had been hit!!!!!! So I just bought a brand new car that has damage on it already!!!!!!!!

Great Customer Care

I needed help getting out of a bad car with a bad buy here pay here place. My credit was horrible and I needed to get back on my feet. Alfred Fennel worked for two weeks to get something worked out with the other dealership because they were giving us the run around. He got me out of that car and into a nice 2014 that I could afford and help my family and I get back on the right track. I recommend Alfred highly [non-permissible content removed].

I was in a bad car with a poor carfax history report. Frank and Mario did their best to pay it off and get me into my first brand new vehicle. I can't believe their ability to work wonders like they do. Their customer service was very great and the managers were very helpful too.
