Paramount Hyundai of Hickory

Back on January 28th, 2023, we bought a vehicle from this dealer. During the signing process they offered a vehicle service contract on the car. We accepted it knowing that if we change our minds about it we could cancel it later on. The amount added for this contract was $2722.00. After a week of thinking it over and doing some research on the matter and calling the insurance company that provides this so called "service contract", we decided to cancel it, since the real benefits for the policy owner are close zero. The contract stated that if we cancel within the first 60 days the dealer should reimburse 100% of the amount paid. We are back at the dealer first thing on February 6th and talk to Ryan, the sales manager that handled our sale documents. He accepted the request and made us sign a document, of which we requested a copy. We did not realize then and there that the document was not dated. he also said that it would take up to 4 to 5 weeks for the request to be processed. We have been waiting way over that time and the refund has not been sent to the financing entity, neither us. We called the dealer, and after many attempts to speak to Allan, one of main managers, he said he would call back and never did. Finally, someone by the name of Mark Robinson told us that a check was sent on March 7th, but so far no one has received it. We called again today, March 27th, a desk girl picked up the phone and said we would get a call from the manager. Surprise! He never called. We are now sure that this dealer is giving us the run around to wait for the 60 days of the contract to go over, and then keep part of the service contract money.

Incompetent service department that is negligent and will intentionally send customers out in unsafe vehicles. Horrible management and leadership. This dealership doesn't care about their customers or the safety of their customers. They will not step up and make things right when they failed in every way possible in their service department. Hyundai Corporate isn't any better. Do yourself a favor and do not subject yourself to complete and total disappointment in a vehicle, dealership and service department. Go somewhere else...anywhere else...just not Paramount

After visiting several dealerships we decided to stop by on our way back home to Virginia. I had heard good reviews on Hyundai and as a last resort we stopped in this dealership. the salesperson Jesus was very nice and professional. We looked at a couple of cars and decide on a 2016 Tucson Eco. The internet price was 18,900 but the price they showed us on paper was 19,400. After several tires going back and forth to the manager they came down the 500 but would go no further even though the NADA retail was 300 lower. We were pressed to buy a car that day for personal reasons so went ahead and agreed on the inflated price. While signing the myriad of papers I noticed that they had changed the price to reflect a $265 increase At that point I was ready to walk out . I would never deal with these people again

My wife and I went car shopping and just happened to stop at Paramount Hyundai. We were greeted by a nice young man who was relatively new to the business. He was extremely polite and eager to meet our needs. If thee was a question that he didn't know the answer to, he found someone who know the answer. After test driving 3 vehicles, we decided on a Genesis. We were extremely pleased with the entire sales force at Paramount and look forward to enjoying the Genesis.

I found the car I was looking for online at Paramount Hyundai, a Lexus CT200. I received a call from the dealer, Charles, and we worked out price and details remotely. When that was agreed on, I came in for a test drive, loved the car, signed papers, and off I went in my new car! Charles was great, personable and honest. I would highly recommend him and Paramount to any car buyers.

Fast, friendly, knowledgeable and HONEST service! We had been looking for a car at a reasonable price with safety features -- lane change sensor/back up camera, etc. Other dealers had advertised prices online but when we would visit them, price increased dramatically. Just purchased a 2018 Sonata Sport on 11/24/17. I started the process a week before online. My salesman was Jesus Jiminez, he was very helpful with explaining the different options available, sent pictures and quotes, all thru email. I spoke to him twice on the phone but everything else was taken care of via the internet. I spoke to Gabrielle who help with the financing options available. He explained everything to me and even gave me alternate options to get financed thru my own bank if it was better for me financially. They both made the experience pleasant. The car I purchased they did not have at their location but as they promised when I got there the car was there and ready to drive off the lot. I spent maybe 2 hours at the dealership and left with my new 2018 Sonata Sport no strings attached. That's what I call GREAT BUSINESS! This is the type of purchase that everyone wishes they had when they purchase a car. This is an above standard car dealership all dealership should do business this way.

We went in on Monday and had done a lot of research beforehand. We knew what car we wanted from their inventory, and they gave up their price they had listed online. Ryan, our salesmen, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't want to haggle or try and get any upcharges and he understood that and make it quick and easy for us.

Charles was a great sales representative. He quickly understood my needs in a vehicle. He was never pushy and when I decided he had already left to go home for the evening, but came back to make sure I was taken care of. My car buying experience was FABULOUS! All paperwork was ready when I arrived. I would certainly do business with him and Paramount again.

I accept this - however - David West and Matt Church at Paramount Hyundai of Hickory were exceedingly patient and ensured that my car-buying experience occurred without a single tantrum. I had a Sonata before purchasing my beautiful new Tucson, so I am acquainted with the Hyundai brand and am very happy with it. You must get it for yourself, but in my opinion paramount Hyundai in hickory NCi gave me a really good deal on my car. I was treated with respect from the time I walked in the door. They did everything in there power and then some so I would leave with a car

I spotted a beautiful 2013 Genesis 2.0 Coupe online with only 23k miles on it and contacted the dealership about setting up a test drive. I received a phone call literally moments later from Charles Cappadona. He was very helpful throughout the entire process. I live about an hour away from the dealership. He was able to get me pre-approved before I drove up. We were able to come to a price that I still can't believe they gave me. The entire process probably didn't even take two hours. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and helpful. This dealership does all they can do do work with you and give you the best possible deal. Great selections of vehicles as well.

If you need a new car, go see Roy at Paramount Hyundai. He was very knowledgeable and got us a great deal after my wife's car was totaled in an accident. We spent two days working with him and test driving cars. Through it all he was very patient, sought to understand our needs, and never became aggressive in his sales approach. The manager on duty was also very kind to us, and did not try to pressure us into a quick decision just to sell a car. We will certainly be buying our next car from Roy and Paramount Hyundai!

Cody was a good sales person. I would recommend anyone needing a vehicle to go see him. The only thing I do not like is that my car does not have dual climate control and was not the color and I wanted or rubber floor mats. They are putting in the heated seats for me. Also, the online email from Tammie Frank was different once I got to the store. I was told on the internet that I could get a limited Elantra for 20,000 dollars, but once I got there I was told I could not get the vehicle for that price. I was told it cost a whole lot more. I even showed them the email she sent me, but that was not good enough.

Over the weekend we went into Paramount Hyundai of Hickory and purchased a car for our daughter. Our salesman was Cody Dula and I must say he made the experience quite easy. He was able to find us a car meeting our requirements. Never once did he try pushing us into something beyond our means. I truly appreciate his kindness and hard work.
