I have only had oil changes and even those were few. Most all of my service has been for oil and tire rotations from local retailers. When I purchased my car in 2004, I took it back for a free oil change and check of the veh. The car did not have a front end license plate holder and I requested one to be put on as I know they come (in the trumk) of the car from the factory. I'm a Marine Vet. and like to show my pride in a USMC License plate!!!! The Service Dept. refused to put one on, stating that the car was a trade from a dealership in Mooresville, and there was no lic. frame included, and told me they would put one on for I believe it was $32.00. That $32.00 expense that I refused to pay soured my opinion on the dealership, but in all fairness, Ben Mynatt has a very good reputation as far as I can tell. I would buy another Buick from them but would make sure it had the lic. frame on the front when I drove off their lot! Just as a tip for the Serv. Supervisor, you might suggest that your cust. svc. reps. not to let such a simple request be denied. It might cost you a dozen or so oil changes, not to mention valuable service work on the car.. I never did purchase a frame for the license plate as I had always intended on going to a junk yard for one. Now after writing this, I just might get off my duff and do it!
