Re: 2006 Quest Smokin' Deals? [dtownfb]

I just paid $31,172.50 for an MSRP $37,405 2006 Quest. That was invoice -$3000 rebate. This was from a guy who didn't know that they already hat 2007s on the lot. I think I could had haggled a couple hundred dollars more in hind sight. However, he asked me to make an offer (this one) and he accepted. Beats haggling.
2004 QUEST SE - EARLY NOVEMBER BUY

Tried to do a deal with the local Columbus, OH dealer and got $300 under invoice + rebate, but they'd only give me $500 for my 96 Windstar. I made it clear I needed their best deal that Saturday since I would be going to Beau Townsend Nissan in Dayton OH that afternoon. I think he probably felt I was bluffing but I drove the extra 60 minutes down there, got the $300 under invoice matched and an additional $500 on the trade ($1000 for a 96 Windstar with 133K miles isn't too bad). Took exactly 10 minutes to close the deal, no pressure after the deal, and they even let my wife and daughters watch Lilo and Stitch on the DVD while everything else was done. All said, KUDOS to Beau Townsend Nissan in Dayton, OH

Which dealer did you go to? I'm looking to buy the same model you got - would like to get the aftermarket leather though - did the dealer make any mention of installing the aftermarket leather?? I'm located in Washington Township(Centerville). Thanks!
2.5S auto stripped Dayton

I just drove out of a lot with a Nissan 2.5S with auto and no adders other than the factory required adders of floormat, splashguards, and micro filter fo $17,995 plus $50 doc fee and of course on top of that sales tax and registration. It's just your basic 2.5S with automatic, air, keyless, cd. Thats about $300 less than a Camry LEor $800 under an Accord LX. Bought it at a lot on the North side of Dayton OH using an ad from a place on the South side of town advertising it for that price. They hemmed and hawwed and asked if I couldn't give them a bit more. I wouldn't. But I also didn't feel like there was any better deal to be had. My last concern - the plastics on the interiors was answered when I drove by the rental car place and observed they were buying Altima's. They aren't going to buy something that is old or that won't hold up.
