Help With Numbers Please
by travdog34 on Tue Apr 07 17:32:22 PDT 2009
Specs of the car: 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5 S 4dr Sedan (2.5L 4cyl CVT) MSRP: $22,545 Terms of lease: 39 months 12,000 miles/year $0 down In march I received a low offer of $249/month. This was from a price match guarantee that said they would beat any offer by $10/month. So I guess you could say one offer was $259/month, and I took that to the other dealership with the guarantee and they went to $249/month with $0 down. Now that it is April, I am wondering if I have room to bargain lower? Do the new numbers this month permit this? I would love to get to around $229/month. Anyone know or think this is possible? Or have the numbers gotten worse, and should I be begging to get $249/month still. I have about 2 weeks to finalize, so any and all help is much appreciated!! Location is Raleigh, NC. Thanks!
Re: Coming out of a G35 lease [Car_man]

Thanks for the info Car_man. I have heard some of the dealers use that expression, "roll them into your new lease" what exactly does that mean? Also, right now I am pretty settled on getting a 2009 Altima 2.5S (Auto) that has a MSRP $22,545. I am looking for a 39month lease at 12k miles/year. I have seen some people post some fairly good lease agreements so the boards. What would you recommend me to shoot for for my monthly payment ($0 down) in order to get the best deal out there? A couple days ago someone posted they got out for $220/month ($0 down) and only got stuck with an acquisition fee. That seems like a great deal to me. All your help is greatly appreciated!! I am in the Raleigh, NC area...just in case that matters.
Coming out of a G35 lease
by travdog34 on Mon Feb 16 20:11:01 PST 2009
I will be closing out a lease on my 2007 Infiniti G35 Coupe in the end of April. The thing is...I want to jump over to the Nissan Altima. I need a bigger vehicle, more trunk space, and a bit better gas mileage. I don't need anything fancy with the car. Just looking for a 4 door, automatic, 2.5S...all the bells and whistles are not necessary. My first question would be...does anyone know of any loyalty incentives if I am switching from Infiniti to Nissan? Obviously not the same make, but within the same family. Has anyone ever heard of any kind of incentives for something like this? Secondly, is there any kind of way to end my lease early and jump into an Altima lease now? Would I be hung out to dry on the remaining Infiniti payments? Is this something that people do/can do? Any insight/info is greatly appreciated! Not sure if it matters, but I am in the Raleigh, NC area.
Re: 2009 Murano SL FWD - Quote [bobh7]

Let's do the math on this one: 09 Murano SL FWD + Tech + Premium + Leather + Door Sills + Splash Guards + Floor Mats = $32,377 invoice, $35,500 MSRP Nissan has a 2% holdback from MSRP ($35,550 x 2%) = $647.54 So rock bottom price could be $32,377 - $647.54 = $31,729.46 Then you say you paid 3% tax, which I'm assuming is sales tax, and tags which we'll round off to be $250, which works out to be $31,729.46 + 3% tax ($951.88) + $250 = $32,931.34 Since you said you paid $31,995, which includes tax and tags, I can only deduce that you paid about $1,000 UNDER the dealer holdback amount for the car. Now my question to you and everyone is.. HOW ARE YOU ABLE TO PAY SO MUCH BELOW THE DEALERS COST OF THE CAR??? :-) Here is what Southern States Nissan in Raleigh NC offered... 2009 Murano SL FWD - Technology Package - Leather Package - Iluminated Door Sills - Premium Package - Splash Guards and Floormats OTD Price - $31995 (this includes 3% tax and new tag)

'08 Altima Coupe 2.5 lease
by pjneder on Wed Sep 26 07:40:23 PDT 2007
Car_man (or others), My wife is looking for an Altima 2.5 Coupe 6spd, convenience package. A local dealer found one in FL and is willing to have it shipped up to Raleigh, NC. He is asking 21,162 (Invoice + $1). I am still waiting on getting the MF and RP for this vehicle. I really don't want to put much down, since it is a lease. Seems like the terms on the coupes are not very aggressive since it is popular. What are some baseline numbers I should expect to get? Thanks!
