Buying a car from a Nissan Car Dealer
Not all the latest Nissan incentives/offers are necessarily listed under Edmunds, True car, etc. For e.g. Nissan had a $500 weekend bonus (Martin King Luther) and $1000 savings currently on Rogue AWD S special addition. However, can’t see these incentives factored in Edmunds/True car or similar websites? Any advise... Anybody with an actual buying experience (in MA)?
carman, I have negotiated a selling price of $18000 on a 12 Altima 2.5S with MSRP $24100, I'm having trouble using the lease calculator, can you please help me with a payment sample based on the following: 3 yr/36000k miles and 0 down. Thank you
I have seen 2011 Maximas advertised at 6-7 thousand below MSRP.
Hi, I am shopping around for a 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5 S coupe. I am looking to LEASE. I have very specific demands about what I want and I am not willing to compromise. I have been to several dealers and the closest dealer that has the car I want is in MA. I live in central NJ. The last dealer said they were willing to have it shipped from MA. The price they gave me for the 2012 Altima coupe was $3,000 down and $360 per month. The coupe has the convenience package, the premium package, and the leather package, which includes the moonroof, HID's, heated seats, BOSE audio, etc. I am not trading anything in. The original price they offered was $457 per month to LEASE including taxes and fees and I got up to walk out. MSRP was $32,850 with the packages. They said they would work with me and I talked them down to $360 per month including taxes and fees. I am in NJ so I am subject to a %7 sales tax as well, which is included in the price. They do have to ship this car from MA and I did not want to go all the way up there to get the car myself and put that much mileage on it driving it back. What are your thoughts on this offer?
Just signed a lease this evening in MA for a Silver 2011 Altima 2.5 S: Here was my situation. Just financed a 2012 VW CC 3 months ago. Had payments of $427 but had a family emergency. Wanted to lower payments without sacrificing too many features as I am in sales and need a comfortable car. My first concern was getting out of my CC with no negative equity and I did that. So then it came to the Altima: Base Price: $22,430 Includes: -Premium Audio Package -Convenience Package -Convenience Plus Package -2.5 SL Package -Mat set -Kickplates (Tried to get the mats and kick plates taken off considering I dont want them for $355 but they wouldn't budge) Total Sticker Price: $28,760.00 Actual Sold Price: $25,590 Incentives: $1,250($500 Recent Grad program) Maintenance and Warranty plan up to 60k miles, $895 for both(I plan to buy it out). $894 due at signing (includes first months payment, $319 doc fee which they would budge on, title and registration) Total Gross Cap Cost: $27,161.79 12k miles/year 39 months Residual= $15,530.40 Monthly Payments: $300.28 (Was around $280 w/o warranty and maintenance plans. But I like the security of not having to pay for any oil changes, tire rotations, and anything else that may happen). I gave another Nissan dealership the opportunity to gain my business if they could beat that and they said absolutely not, you better jump on that. According to True Car, if I add the options to the 2.5 S, I could get it for around $23,500 but I don't think I could have gotten another $2k off considering they wouldn't even give me the mats and kickplates discount, even tried to get a spoiler and no go. So anyone who can get the Altima with all those packages for $23,500 is lucky.
