I highly recommend Tustin Nissan. Go through their Internet/Fleet Department. I would not go through a floor salesman unless you like or are good at hard negotiations and playing games. I contacted over 12 dealerships throughout OC and LA and they gave me the best price and were the most friendly/no hassle/most professional (to me, that counts almost as much as the price). I got mine for $600 under invoice. The next best offer I got was $250 under invoice. Everyone else either gave me invoice pricing or anywhere from $500 -$1600 over invoice. I did all my work with the dealerships the last week of April but didn't get around to purchasing until the first week of May and they still honored their April pricing. Make sure you know exactly what model, color and options you want and it should go very smoothly. I also posted a Dealer Review on Tustin Nissan on Edmunds so you can check that out for more details too. Hope this helps!

2008 Altima 2.5s with Conv pkg

Bought this 2 days ago for 19,000 purchase price (20000 minus 1000 dollar for rebate plus the 3.9 fin for 60 months). Has Al kick plates, splash guards and mats. MSRP was 22835. Negotiated mostly over emails. At the dealership got a couple hundred more off. In LA area the OTD price was ~ 20,913 including taxes, fees etc. This was silver with charcoal int. Love the car (had an older altima before this...) Hope this is helpful to someone. This site was a great resource for determining what to target. Thanks :shades:

Man, Langjie, you're just full of sunshine, huh! HAHA! Yup. I know the black interior is two-tone. We actually took the car back the first week we had it, because we thought the factory had goofed up. The story that they're sticking to is that a black headliner holds too much heat, which makes the ac run too long, which affects gas mileage. Sounds reasonable to me. At the end of the day, a light headliner doesn't even get noticed most of the time. The interior of the A pillars are white, too, but, as I said, once you get used to it, you don't even notice it. We're happy with the 1K over invoice deal. What I was REALLY happy with is that the dealership didn't quibble much (but the sales guy was a friend of ours, which probably helped). I HATE negotiating for cars. Feel like I should get deloused after I leave the dealership. I'm always skeptical when a dealership tells me of a big price change about to happen. It's a pretty bold-faced sales tactic to get you to move, and then when they tell ya afterwards, it makes you feel good that you got a good deal from them, so you'll bring your business back.... In SOME cases it is supply and demand, which may have entered into the situation. We got one of the last hybrids for 07 north of San Francisco. As the supply of these very cool cars goes down, the price can go up if demand doesn't change. It's basic economics. Oddly enough, we don't see many NAHs in our area, which would seem to indicate the demand probably outstrips supply, but when I went to LA on business last week, I saw a lot of them out on the freeways. Maybe that's where all the "missing" NAHs are going.....SoCal?
