I just bought the same car last week. My MSRP was $27,420. I have Navy Blue/Charcoal leather. My out the door (amount to finance) would have been $20,558.36 but I bought an extended warranty 6/100,000 for $1,280 and 3/4 of the care package (paint/undercoat/rust) for $450, so my total was $22,012.36 and I got an interest rate of 4.65% and my payments are $411.88 for 60 months. You can do better. Good luck!!! Oh and I live in Lake County, IL. so my taxes were 7% Hmmm...almost 9K off MSRP? So, even if I can only get 7K off the base 2.5S, I would be able to get 1 for ~15K or less?

I just leased my 09 Maxima Premium Package Premium Technology from Courtesy in Moline IL. I went in feeling good about the payment and now getting home I am not sure. Here are the basics and I would really like someone to let me know if I should be bending over. I have been reading this forum for months and felt confident in the $450 monthly payment. I thought I understood all of the numbers before I went in and they as we all know they manipulate the numbers how ever they need to but I think I like my monthly payment. I have a $450 month payment Car has premium everything dark slate charcoal interior (navigation, cold package all included) I also got chrome wheels and the back windows tinted I traded in my 99 Jeep grand Cherokee that I didnt think it was worth more than 2000 and they gave me 2875. They showed me invoice and it said $36600 for what that is worth. I guess now that I am home buyers remorse sets in a little bit. I paid nothing out the door and 1st month was covered. According to edmunds it seems as though I got a decent deal but would really like to what you experts out there think. He said that I got 52% residual with MF of .00076 and he told me that they have to turn in to Nissan the right residual and MF or else paperwork gets returned. Is that really true...that does not seem true to me. Well that is enough for now...Hope to hear from someone soon.

Current deals for the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area, plus some Chicago for an Altima 2.5S with Splash Guards and Floor Mats (standard): Current rebates: $1,500 July, $500 until July 8th, $500 College Grad, $4,500 CFC/CARS. $179 state inspection required for all new cars (I hear). Current initial internet offers (not including rebates and inspection, but includes splash guards and floor mats): Rosen (Brown Deer) - $20,320 Boucher Waukesha - $20,131 ($21,067 with Convenience Package) Boucher West Allis - $20,546 Russ Darrow (Brown Deer) - $19,914 M'Lady (Crystal Lake, IL) - $19,431 McGrath (Elgin, IL) - $19,611 I asked several of them if they were participating in the C.A.R.S. program right now and only Russ Darrow is; all the others are waiting until July 24th to start making deals. So for most of them, I won't be able to combine Cash for Clunkers with the $500 July 8th rebate. So I'm planning to offer $19,000 - $1,500 - $500 - $500 - $4,500 = $12,000 plus Tax, Title, Registration and see if I can get that deal from one of the dealers willing to make C.A.R.S. sales this week.

OK, so I caved... Got a SL/AWD black with leather, 360, premium for $30900 with my Rogue trade-in at $18000. That's with 2.9%, no rebate. It's a bit more than I was hoping to pay but SLs are so difficult to find in the midwest region. Also, it was a fresh inventory with 4 miles on it so I am just gonna enjoy the ride :) Got it from M'Lady in Crystal Lake, IL. Pleasant experience overall.
