The residual is the % difference between the MSRP and the purchase price at lease end.

iowa70 thanks for sharing. Would you mind telling us the APR? If it's the 2.9% APR from nissan, that would make you car payments at $233. I think that sounds like a reasonable price. However, you are in NC and the cost of living is much lower than in Miami, FL. So I don't know if I could get that same deal. Anyhow, as I mentioned in earlier posts, I am only three weeks away from going to the dealerships to haggle for a deal. Does anyone know of a no haggle nissan dealership near Miami, FL? I want to start the negotiations with that price. I guess it would be the same thing as starting with carmax, but nonetheless I'd like to talk to a physical dealership.

I apologize for not giving enough info. This is the options I want on an 1.8 s model. I don't care whether it is a hatchback or not. Optional Equipment $1,180 $1,023 $1,023 P02 Power Package $730 $633 $633 T01 ABS Package $250 $217 $217 R01 Cruise Control $200 $173 $173 Color Adjustments - - $0 Not Sure Destination Charge $720 $720 $720 I want to know if I can get this for $11,300 + $720 destination + taxes + license fee. This is in the Miami, FL area. I plan to go into the dealership and tell the guy I am ready to buy at $11,300. I don't know anything about how the cashback incentive works, just care about how much I am financing.

I visited another dealer in Miami and received the following quote: 4 door ALTIMA 2.5 SL plus the connection package for a term of 39 Months, $350.00 per month which includes the tax (FL 7% tax). 15,000 miles per year, and out of pocket expense of $580 ( 1st month and title transfer,etc.). Better than yesterday quote.

I was just quoted on a 39 month lease for the Altima 2.5 SL with 15,000 per year at $348 per month including tax (FL 7%) and out of pocket $1198.00. Is this a fair deal? Miami, Florida

Does the net cap cost reflect the $2,999 down payment? Does the entire $2,999 go towards reducing the cap cost or are inception fees mixed in? It seems like a pretty high down payment for a lease. Is that your choice to lower the payment? Remember, Nissan is offering $2,500 rebate on this car that should be applied towards reducing the cap cost.
