STAY AWAY FROM HASSET!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had hasset do an oil change on my 2008 F250 shorlty after purchasing it. I got the truck back filthy and the drivers side running board was all scratched up. the truck service manager "bob" told me to quite complaining as he ran a truck shop. I then went to the main service center and spoke to Mark Zergebel who described himself as the owners son. he explained that the running boards were costly and had to be purchased in pairs (a lie) as i was using the truck to tow a vacation trailer and leaving that week on vacation I decided to allow him to perform a free oil change at a later date instead of changing the running board. when it was time for the oil change they kept me waiting all day and when i got home and checked the oil i discovered it had never been changed. I took Hasset to small claims and won a award of $548.41. The cost of one running board. when i attempted to collect i was put in touch with some [violative content deleted] named joe who described himself as the company fixer. he wanted me to come down to the dealership and sign a release in front of a notary or some such nonsense so they could jerk me around all day. when I refused he stated " then you'll never get paid." I mailed the following letter to the owner of hasset regirsterd mail. As you are aware Judgement in the amount of $548.41 has been awarded to me as of 06/10/09 you have 30 days to appeal. If payment has not been received by that date I will gladly petiton for a judgement and contact the nassau County Better Busuness Burea, who as you know suspends the business license of any corporation failing to satisfy a judgement. There are no stipulations attached to this judgement requiring me to do anything but accept payment via U.S. mail. Your processed check is proof of payment. Hope to see you in court again soon. signed a satisfied customer. needless to say I got the check in the mail a few days later. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these [violative content deleted]
