I called these people as they had placed an ad in the New York Daily News and Autotrader for a Toyota Tacoma. There advertised price was $20,999. When I called the dealership, I spoke to a sales manager, "Theo." I told him that I was traveling from New Jersey and I wanted to confirm the vehicle was still there and the advertised price was correct. He told me to bring in the ad. I informed him that I was traveling from New Jersey and did not want him wasting my time. He told me to bring in the ad and they would make the deal. When I arrived to negotiate for the vehicle, they said, "oh no. This is not the correct price of the vehicle. You did not read the fine print. At the end of the ad in a disclaimer, it stated that Autotrader is not responsible for the accuracy of the reported advertisement. So, basically they placed a scam ad in the New York Daily News and placed it on the Autotrader. I reported them to the Attorney General and advise EVERYONE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS THEY ARE [violative content deleted] NOT TO BE TRUSTED.
