By far the most unprofessional consumer business I have ever dealt with. I bought a 2010 Toyota Sienna last fall. The sales process was terrible. Firstly, the salesman didn't know the product. I wanted an 8-seat vehicle. He assured me that Toyota sold an 8-seat Sienna with all wheel drive, even though I knew they did not. I knew a lot more about the Sienna than my salesman did. He misled us numerous times. We wanted a nav system. They sold us a terrible Pioneer system for twice as much as it cost online. My wife can't figure out how it works. When we came to pick up the car and pay, the finance guy kept us waiting for 2 hours even though we had an appointment. The next week, after some options were added to the car, they called me and told me it was ready. But when I arrived at the dealership the car wasn't ready. I dreaded my first service call, and I wasn't disappointed. I made an appointment for 8:30 in the morning but when I arrived there were so many cars backed up that they asked me if I could come back another day. A week later, my wife brought the car in. The switch to one of the interior reading lights had broken after the first month. After my wife dropped it off, she texted me that the tech said the light was fine. It's true that the light went on. It was the manual switch that was broken. After being put on hold by six different people, I finally reached the service manager and explained the problem. He assured me that they would check every light. When I came to pick up the car, the service head assured me that he looked carefully and there was no problem. I asked him about the switch, not the light. He assured me it was fine. He then left for the day. 40 minutes later the car emerged with the light switch still broken. To his credit, the service manager was embarrassed but he was busy with another customer. The best he could offer was for me to come back 5 days later! I drove away in disgust. If only there were another Toyota dealer in Manhattan. But it's not that important. I am seriously thinking of trading in the Sienna for a Honda Odyssey, which I had previously. Honda service was much better. I will never buy another Toyota vehicle again. But if you do, stay far away from Toyota of Manhattan.
