Part 1: Let me start out by saying that I am the designated car negotiator in the family. I am extremely busy with work and the way that I find time for negotiating is through email with multiple dealers. Out of all the dealers I email, I always look for the responses that have not only the best deal, but also the most sincerity in it. From the very beginning, my dealings with Eric G., the general sales manager at Manahawkin Kia, were professional, courteous, and without condescension. Eric was one of the best prices I received and the most human that I was able to communicate with. Many dealer sales reps sometimes forget that they are in fact talking to a real person who may buy a vehicle from them, and I chose Eric because he never lost sight of that for a minute. He allowed the negotiations to take place at my speed given my busy work schedule and at no point did he try any of the bait and switch techniques that others use. He was respectful of how I wanted to conduct the process and as a result, both sides were happy. We got a great deal and Eric now has a Kia customer for life. The next time I have a friend or a family member who want a Kia, I know exactly where and who to send them. Thanks again Eric! Cary was involved in some of the email negotiations between myself and her general sales manager, Eric G., however the larger role she played was on the day of delivery. When we arrived, she made my family and I feel incredibly comfortable and took the time to explain everything in detail. As a result of what I do for a living, I have developed a skill over the years for being an excellent judge of character, and let me tell all of you out there that Cary is once of the most sincere I have even met in the industry. I have dealt with hundreds of sales reps in my many years of negotiations with Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, Saab, Toyota, Subaru, Honda, Acura, Infiniti, Nissan, Porsche, Ashton Martin, Jaguar and Cadillac, Audi, Land Rover and Volvo, and Cary is probably the nicest and most genuine sales rep I have encountered. She went out of her way to take care of my family and I. I am posting this review to show her publicly that my family and I appreciate her and how she does business, and to let everyone else out there know exactly who to go to. I went to look at the new Cadenza at Manahawkin Kia. The staff was great with the test drive and showing all the cars great features. They also gave me a good lease price. Great staff knowledgeable and pleasant. I traded my Optima in which I loved and love the Cadenza even more.
