I had my subaru in for servicing where Mt. Olive Subaru claims they did a complete check up, changed the oil, etc. The following week, I had a little trouble starting it. I called John in service and asked him if he checked the battery during my recent visit. He said that the servicing did not call for checking the battery but they did check the cables and battery terminals. I brought it to Sears to have the battery checked and they said the battery is fine and the reason I was having trouble is because of the corrosion on the battery terminal. I called John the next day to inquire how they could have checked the battery terminal if it were corroded and they couldn't see it. He called me back after speaking to the tech that worked on my car and said the tech didn't remember my car (what a surprise). The bottom line is I take my car in for servicing every 3,000 miles so I won't have problems. I have always trusted that they actually did the work they said they did and for which I paid. I found out quite accidentially that they didn't do the work that they said they did which makes me wonder what else they didn't do that claimed to have done. I advised him that Mt. Olive Subaru has lost a customer as they did not perform the services that I paid for and they represented they had performed. (John didn't seem to care - never once did he apologize.) If you want an honest dealership for servicing your Subaru stay far away from Mt. Olive Subaru. I do have a pix of the corroded terminal which is posted on the Google review.
