Pros:

Low-key dealership, more personal; not a huge assembly line operation.

Cons:

Fewer cars in inventory and on the showroom floor.

We've purchased a number of Toyotas over the years starting with a Celica GT that we bought in the '70s. All good cars; absolutely no complaints. In fact, my wife is a confirmed Avalon fan who is currently on her third (a 2006 Limited) which she loves—and she really knows her cars.
