David Michael VW Manalapan - NJ Sales person Andre was knowledgeable and agreeable. Listened to my needs and located the car with the features I wanted. I was trading in my current car and told him I had researched the trade in value and the invoice price of the new car. Assured me their pricing would be fair. Spoke to the sales manager and came back $500 over MSRP and $3000 lower than Galves trade in value. When I questioned the numbers, the sales manager (Mitch) came over stating that the cars never sold under MSRP and that my information on the trade in was inflated. He agreed to take a loss on the trade in and upped the offer by $1,500. I walked. Reydel VW Edison NJ Went to Reydel VW. Salesman Sean Hitchman listened and located my car. He was told the same information as David Michael. Came back $300 over invoice for the car and offered full Galves value on the trade in. I agreed to take the car. The sales manager (Mike) stopped by to thank me for my business and everyone I met or spoke to made me feel like appreciated. Moral - if buying in Central Jersey, save the time and just go to Reydel - tell them Paul sent you!
