Typical car salesmen !

by Suzette on 09/20/2019

Put a deposit down on a Toyota Tundra which was stated to have 35;010 miles. Now we can understand some additional miles (like 50-75) for other test drives and whatever, but when we went to apply for the loan the paper work stated 35,614 miles !! WTH !!! They put 600 additional miles on this truck and acted like it was no big deal ! It also had a big scratch on the back fender ! They were the most rude and obnoxious dealership we had ever dealt with ! Talked to us and rolled their eyes, like we were stupid ! The only bright spot in this whole ordeal was our sales woman Candace, kind, considerate and apologetic. And the only reason they got one star was because I had to !

Buy Elsewhere you'll be Glad you Did

by BrianKushner on 03/03/2019

In the past 20+ years I've been buying Mercedes Benz I've tried a few times to do a deal with Cherry Hill. Back in 2003 they wouldn't even wait list me on a $100K car, few years ago no call back from salesman after four days and two calls and my latest attempt last week. I was contacted by internet sales regarding a new 2020 GLE I'm interested in. I explained ahead of time I've had no luck buying at Cherry Hill even though I live 5 minutes away, I always end up in PA or DE. They asked me to give them a chance. So I emailed the colors and options I was looking for and received an email from the internet sales that they were working on it and I would hear from someone. Few hours later I received an email from Stan Winslow whom I came to find is a salesman there. It said: Thanks so much for giving me the opportunity to work with you. Even though we couldn't get together on this I will be here to assist in the future. It went on "Now star showing off that NEW CAR." I was completely puzzled by this response as I was expecting a contact to work out the new car. I emailed Mr. Winslow back and asked is there a reason your not willing to sell me a car. Seconds later he responded: "You are not my only customer". Again puzzled I wrote back and asked him what was going on. Before he could reply I wrote again and told him there was no need to reply I would email the owner Mike Hartung the owner. Mr Winslow sent a third email that said: "As you wish." I wrote Mr. Hartung and the head of consumer affairs for MBUSA and didn't hear back from either person. I did receive a voice mail from the GM of Cherry Hill that said he's sorry for the misunderstanding. I then ordered the car from another dealership. Most MB buyers around here tell stories about the nightmares they encounter at CHMB, many are in reviews. To sum it up they act as if they are doing you the biggest favor in the world to sell you a car. This attitude has been there in all the years I've been buying Mercedes and I can only think that this is a reflection of management. Do yourself a favor and hit one of the Pennsylvania or Delaware Dealers you'll be glad you did.

Great sales experience

by LenSmart2014 on 08/09/2017

I can't say enough about how helpful Carrie Godfrey was during my buying experience. She went above and beyond to make sure things went smoothly. I bought a left over Smart car, but I was treated like I was buying an S class. I did this transaction completely from the comfort of my home office. I never set foot in the dealership and never met any of their staff in person. The entire procedure was done online and via a few phone calls. I would definitely recommend Carrie to anyone and would be happy to work with her again the next time I am in the market for a new car.

used car purchase

by hlong2306 on 10/24/2012

Salesman was excellent. One car of interest was sold just after my telephone inquiry and salesman called immediately. Described another used car that had just come in that I ended up buying and I have been delighted with the car, the salesman and the dealership in handling the transaction.

Unbelievably bad experience

by larrypecan on 05/12/2009

The car manufacturers should come up with a way to monitor lost sales. I made a deal with this company, wherein they accepted an offer I had made several days before. The next morning after the salesman had called to let me know the dealership had accepted my offer, I received an e-mail stating the car had been sold, but they had another of a different color I could consider. He didn't have the guts to call. I guess to them, an agreement doesn't mean anything. There is no chance I would ever buy anything from them. They also own the local Audi dealership, so they now have no shot at selling me a Q7. Larry Pecan Voorhees, NJ
