Unprofessional/Unethical Ownership

****UPDATE 10/5/2022: When I purchased my truck in 10/2021, I was provided a silver customer card which included complimentary benefits up to one year later such as an oil change, tire rotation/alignment, and winter/spring safety checks, complimentary with the nearly $50,000 purchase that I had made in 10/2021. On 10/5/2022, I arrived after making an appointment to get my complimentary tire alignment as per the terms of the initial sale. I was advised that as of 10/3/2022, the dealership was no longer honoring these cards. This is due to recently being sold to new ownership that decided, abruptly, to no longer agree to terms that had been agreed upon by the previous ownership. Your opinion may differ from mine, but I believe this to be terrible business practice. I would venture to call it unethical and highly unprofessional. Again, this was not the staff on location, this is the new ownership. I can no longer support or endorse doing business with this dealership. Thank you to the 2 staff members who accomodated me and assisted with giving me 50% off of the service, but they should never even had to do that if the new owners practiced proper ethics and integrity. This is just my opinion, but I would like it to be known to any potential patrons of the dealership. Thank you. -Stanley Kemp, Jr.

Awesome experience

This was the third vehicle i bought at City Dealership. My salesman Moe always makes me feel at home. Moe goes above and beyond to make a deal happen. I always leave completely satisfied. If you want to buy a car this is the place, they get you in and out in under 2 hours, negotiation is quick and finance is even faster. City respects your time and gets it done.

Adding Miles To My Collector Car

I brought my 2010 Dodge Viper in for an oil change; it's a collector car with exactly 1400 miles on it when I dropped it off (1400 miles in almost 7 years). When I picked it up, it had an additional 15 unnecessary miles on it, and everyone in the service department left for the day. Since it's a collector car, I need to keep the miles very low. Putting an extra 15 miles on my car for an oil change is unprofessional and unacceptable! It should have never been driven, and if someone crashed it, my collector car would have been worth nothing. And if wrecked, getting reimbursed from an insurance company does not get my exact car back. I just needed an oil change and an inspection of the fluids. There was nothing wrong with the vehicle. Adding 15 unnecessary miles on a collector car is like adding 1500 miles on a regular car! Any customer would be upset!

Take my advice! Or you will be ripped Off!

On September 18, 2015 I took my 2012 Jeep to service or repair a water leak and to perform a four wheel alignment. My experience in dealing with the service department and representative by the name of 'Rocco' was unprofessional to the point that I lost complete trust with Dodge and Chrysler dealer located in Burlington, NJ. First of all 'Rocco' explained to me that they sub-contract water leaks to the so called "Water Doctor". He gave me a quote of approximately $280 using aftermarket products. Really? This is a jeep dealer.... what happen to using original products? That is why I took my jeep to the dealer to use original weather stripping or rubber seals if needed to be replaced. Second, they say that they completed the wheel alignment and charged me $99.95 but could not produce a print read out to show me the wheel alignment results. After I drove my Jeep of the lot is still pulling to the right. What kind management is this? My guess is that they did NOT completed the wheel alignment, then gave me a bill of $99.95 for a service that they can't prove! I could not believe "Rocco's' respond when I ask him for the printed read out "the service man shredded the read out" REALLY? Are they supposed to keep records and provide supporting documents to their clients? THIS IS BAD BUSINESS. How can they be trusted? PLEASE listen to me find another dealer to service your vehicle, and think about it if the service department conducts bad business I assume that the sales department operate the same way! I'm taking this to the next level, I also assume that the Hyundai dealer in Burlington, NJ can't be trusted because they are run by the same management. Do yourself a favor and don't get Ripped Off, avoid a stressful satiation by listening to others experience. If you don't believe me, I still have 'Rocco's" voice mail to confirm this review. What they fail to understand is that they are dealing with adults, hard working adults and not kids, and that is how I feel when dealing with 'Rocco'. Is time to find professionals and not [non-permissible content removed]. Sad to say but they lost another client today. This is my third visit to this dealer service department and I have seen other unsatisfied customers expressing their concerns. I should had listen and see it as RED FLAGS, and search for a different dealer to conduct service with. Lessons learned!!!!!!!!!

what a great place

I came in for a newer car from a 2005 to a 2011 Kia Sorento, I spent time with Mauricio Mier & Gus Orsi. My sales men Marc had me in and out of the dealership so fast I was amazed. no other dealer has the time efficiency was AMZEING, my past experience's with vehicle purchases was horrible and it took hours. With this place I was in and out. I bought my car on the 25th of the month and my motor vehicle work was done the very next day I was shocked on how fast. I will recommend everyone I talk to that is interested in purchasing a new vehicle to come in and talk to my guys here, not only was there no pressure I felt very comfortable there. I look forward to taking part in your referral program, who doesn't want to earn $100.00 for each person you refer, thank you all once again for everything.

Top Notch!

Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram City and Hyundai is top notch. Everyone from my Sales Associate to the Financial Rep, to the Cashier, to the Manager Mike L. were outstanding, helpful and courteous. This organization is a well-oiled machine. At many dealerships trading-in and purchasing a new vehicle can be quite intimidating, especially to a single woman, but there was no fast talk, no slippery suits and no hidden facts. I would definitely recommend Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram City and Hyundai to all of my closest friends and family.

Purchase of a new Jeep Cherokee Limited

Dodge City was all professional and courteous during all phases of my experience. the salesman new the Cherokee well and explained all the features in terms easily understood. No pressure, just answered my questions quickly and honestly. The finance officer helped walk me through that experience, explaining any and all options available, including any discounts I was eligible for. At all times Dodge City's staff was friendly and courteous which helped me in making my decision to purchase the Jeep.

Great salesman finance and tag person mediocre

I needed to replace my previous vehicle that was totalled from an accident right away, I contacted dealership via email about the vehicle i was interested in. someone called me right away to set up an appt for a test drive the next day. when I arrived my salesman was very friendly and helpful. the vehicle I drove wasnt for me but he was very patient and helpful while I looked over the others they had on the lot. we finally found the car for me and he was very helpful with the return of my rental car and allowing me to take my new car home right away. I needed to return a week later to drop off the check from the insurance co and the finance person asked me to sign new loan papers because of the dates. it wasnt a big deal since i was already there. a week later he calls again and wants me to return again to sign more papers... i live in Pa so I wasnt going to be driving by anytime soon. my temporary tag expired because they lost the copy of my driver license 3 times and they could not give me a new temp tag. I had no choice but to drive for almost 2 months on an expired tag. when the tag finally arrived at the dealer it took almost 45 minutes for them to locate it because they underestimated the cost of the tag and I owed a small balance. instead of leaving a note with the tag person they kept my tag in the managers office without her knowing. there was so much of her time and mine wasted looking for it because of poor communication. in the end I would have bought my car from a dealer in Pa just to avoid the aggravation. I would definitely buy from the salesman again

Great Customer Service!

I recently bought a pre-owned car from Dodge Chrysler Jeep City. The customer service was great. I called the dealership and spoke with a woman from the Internet Department, and she answered my questions about the car I was interested in. Then I went in and worked with a very nice salesperson who showed me not only the car I was interested in but other comparable vehicles. In the end, I ended up buying the one I was interested in. We got a great deal and since they're open late, I didn't have to rush over from work. I also got a great little card that gives us discounts and a few free or discounted maintenance services. Awesome customer service!

RUN AwAY! Do not give these things any of your money!

I will never purchase a car from this dealership. This past weekend my wife and I put a down payment of $2500. on a vehicle to be picked up Monday. That deal fell through. Now after a few days of phoning back and forth, I was to go down and have them cut me a check for MY money. I told our "salesman" that I would be there between 12:30 and 1pm on Thursday the 27th, he said that was fine. I pulled into the dealership at 12:45, met with the "salesman", who took a copy of the cashed check that proved that City Auto did get their money on a car that we never received, and he went to the back to get the check. After 10 minutes he came back out and said that he could not return MY money today because the person who signs the checks had left and that person would not be back till Monday. I was very upset, another supervisor came over and said there was nothing they could do "BOSS", yes he called me boss. SO I had to leave there with out my $2500 dollars, which I was told would be returned Monday at 5:30pm to my place of residence. Who knows if they will really return my money. PLEASE NEVER PURCHASE A CAR HERE!!!!
