I wouldn't buy a roll of toilet paper [non-permissible content removed]

I wouldn't buy a roll of toilet paper from [non-permissible content removed]. Test drove and decided to buy a vehicle. I was then told I'd need to pay cash on the spot to buy the vehicle as paradoxically they don't take deposits of any sort, such that a customer has a reasonable opportunity to bring payment while the vehicle was reserved for the customer trying to complete the purchase. Rather (in the case of a cash sale) only a bank check made out to them for the exact amount was acceptable as payment. What?! I didn't have a bank check at that instant made out in the exact (just calculated) amount to the dealership in my pocket. Well banks are generally closed in the evening so I intended to bring a bank check the next morning but was then told another customer was looking at the same vehicle, intending to finance the purchase so in this case no scrambling to obtain a bank check was needed. The vehicle was sold out from under me to the other customer even though I was trying to place a deposit on it the previous day such that I could complete a purchase in good faith. This is a beyond ridiculous customer engagement model and negative (if not outright hostile) customer treatment. A dealership employee trying to justify this conduct, stated the establishment is on shaky financial ground and this paniced approach (give me the money now or I sell to the next customer who stumbles in the door) was somehow a last gasp attempt for survival of the dealership. In retrospect I suppose it is fortunate I walked away free of any customer association with that flailing operation. But even if it does manage to momentarily survive, its sold-soul behavior will likely have it titanic anyway. Apparently this is a general customer concern as well -- it was underscored the certified 5-year warranty of this vehicle was backed by Allstate should the dealership evaporate during the warranty period. Guess I should have read the writing on the wall. Anyway if you seek spectacularly incompetent customer treatment from a struggling dealer, this is the place for you. For everyone else, spare yourself the aggravation and pass [non-permissible content removed] by on your way to the next Toyota dealer. Edit: another dealer self-inflicted embarrassment worth sharing: This vehicle had a rock hole in the windshield which was already radially spider web cracking. Obvious to anyone yet the sales guy was trying to dismiss it as a non-issue. I asked it be repaired as a safety issue, and the fact the windshield would otherwise split in a few weeks of driving. His manager wanted me to buy the vehicle that day and have the windshield repaired myself, whereupon I'd send them the bill. What?! I suppose that's what transpires at the end of the month when the Three Stooges of Toyota dealerships is desperately trying to stay afloat.

repair

repair is always more expensive than I would like, but the staff make it understandable. It would be nice to have answers that give more detail than yes or no, maybe a scale from 1 to 5.

Great buying experience!

Have been buying cars for close to 50 years and this was the best, smoothest transaction I’ve ever experienced. Jamie Rios was extremely polite, professional and informative. Even synced my phone to my truck for me. He was very helpful after I got my truck home answering questions I had. I’d recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new vehicle. I even traveled over sixty miles to purchase my truck and it was well worth effort!

just wanted to drop a line to comment on the great service i received on the 8th of this month from your sales department. we all know that sometimes purchasing a new car can be stressful, so I had brought my twin brother with me for support. also for some company for the long ride down from Enfield Center where i live. this would be my fourth Rav 4 I had purchased , but only the 2nd one from your dealership. both times I was very pleased with the service and professional manner I received. your salesperson Ashley Hitchcock was so friendly when we entered your store. she made the whole buying experience easy. when my twin brother and I went out to look at cars and pick the one I wanted, he made a comment to me about how this was the first dealership he had been to, where everyone was so kind, helpful and nice. Oil Change

I made an appt but then had a commitment so I needed to do a drop off and pickup later... I called to confirm I could do this and the person on the phone said he needed my VIN # to look up the appt and confirm everything... I thought that was odd and why he couldn't look up my appt by my name and vehicle make since I've been there numerous times... I did the drop off early and left my phone number in case there was a question... within 30 minutes I received a text that confirmed everything was on schedule and ok... I then received another text saying everything was completed and ready for pickup... the first part wasn't so good but the actual service was outstanding..

Sales Review 2019 Camry XLE

Purchased new 2019 Camry XLE with trade in. Only one in stock at the time. Salesman (Joel) was able to find nearby dealerships with a vehicle I was looking for (color and options). Sales and trade in negotiations went well with no haggling. The only downside was that I used the Refer-A-Friend Program with a friend who recently purchased a RAV4. The form was filled out by salesman at the dealership, yet after more than 30 days, we never saw any check. Minus one star.

Nobody beats Toyota of Keene

I have never been less than thrilled with the service at Toyota of Keene. I feel they are honest, thorough, professional and experts at what they do. I love my 2005 Highlander and I bet she has a few more years left in her, but when it's time for a trade-in, I will be purchasing from Toyota of Keene. And....Toyota of Keene is not the closest Toyota dealership to me but I've tried the other two, and they cannot compare. Definitely worth the driving distance for their service.
