It really is a sad state of affairs when after being a loyal and extremely boastful customer for over 5 years, you have to turn around and advise the planet that a business which was once the "Best of the Best"...has in the span of a little less than a month, fallen to the ranks of pathetic! I don't know whether it is the mindset of the economy, or the mindset of the apparent "new" ownership that the business model and practice should go from being courteous, helpful, concerned, and proud of the dealership they represent (and clientele), to "we don't care, and if you want our opinion, it will cost you what ever we happen to think of at the time"! My wife took her X-Type sport coupe in yesterday as she has been doing for years, only to find that her long time service advisor had been released, staff would not elude as to where, were impolite, charged $100 fee for the same service they have never charged her for before in those 5 years....and basically took the position of well..."We're Jaguar...$crew you" and then to boot, quoted the most outrageous fee for simple exhaust repair work on the planet! As now a former customer, I will reach out directly to the new owner to address these concerns...but in the meantime, this will be the first of any opportunity I get to publicly advise fellow patrons to please take the time to maybe push the awareness meter upward on this once classy dealership gone into the tank. I hope the new mindset drives them straight out of business.
