After an insane quote for basic oil change service at a nearby Honda dealer, I appeared without an appointment for an oil change at the Acura dealer. I was quoted a normal/reasonable price for this basic service. I was told that the work could be done within an hour or so even though the service department appeared busy. The service writer gave me a tour of the dealership including directing me towards the internet cafe for a free breakfast snack and drink. He also offered a free manicure that was offered daily to all their customers during certain hours. I was spending less than $ 50 for my oil change so I was shocked that these perks were offered to me. The work was performed within the promised time frame and the service writer came to where I was waiting to tell me they were finished and the vehicle was currently being vacummed and washed at no additional charge. I paid the cashier and found my van clean and ready to go. What a breath of fresh air after a horrible experience at the local Honda Dealer.
