"...used 2003 eclipse for $6750..." For that car with 71000 miles Edmunds lists the following TMVs by trim level: RS--$6500 GS--$7000 GT--$8000 GTS--$9000 So depending on the trim level you got a pretty good deal. :)

I bought a used 2003 eclipse for $6750. The dealer wanted $6950 for it. The radio was messed up so he gave me $200 off.The car had 71,000 on it. I purchsed a 1995 many years ago, I paid about $10,000 for it. I have been well pleased with the eclipses. I have gotten good service out of them so far. Of course the maintenance has been kept up.

I live on Long Island and didn't get quoted a good price for my '09 XLS AWD. I contacted Maywood Mitsubishi, NJ via Internet and got a fair, no BS quote. It might be in your interest to go the extra miles to NJ for your Outie.

Yes, a 2008 without AWD for 23K doesn't sound like a deal to me. When you start talking about non AWD (actually it's 4WD) there are a lot of options out there. That's really the only reason I was looking at Mitsubishi because 4WD/AWD was a must have for me. If one goes back to just FWD the market is wide open.

mitsubishi is pushing me hard to get this brand new 2008 XLS they have, has all the options.. sun and sound, navi, and luxury, XLS V6.. black leather!!! BUT no AWD =*( Can't by anything unless it has that. Sticker price was 29-30k, they were offering it to me at $23k Guess not bad for those who dont mind not having AWD, but for me, its a must.
