Very Satisfied

onI have purchased two vehicles here, both used in the last 6 years. I have been very pleased with the whole process. Friendly, courteous, and willing to work with you. I refer my friends and family here in a heartbeat. They are not in a "need" to sell you a vehicle, so it is a very positive experience, no pressure what so ever.

Bad Customer Service
by 02/02/2012
onSynopsis of my review is not to buy a car from this dealer. Now here is why: The car buying experience at this dealer was very unusal. I had purchased a car in the last year from another dealer and had a very positive experience. There were a variety of things that i thought were odd: they don't fill up the car with a full tank of gas (only 10 bucks if you buy used or more depending on how much you spend). Now this issue was not that big a deal to me but just made me very cautious but they had a zero tolerance return policy. You drive it off the lot 10 ft and you are not happy with it you are stuck with it. I had purchased other cars from other dealers and they were not that way. What my main issue was that the post sale customer service was horrible. Once you have bought the car they put zero effort in trying to work with you. My case was something simple: tags. I live an hour away from the dealer. three times i had to go into the dealer to get temp tags and finally to pickup my new tags. They didn't mail it in fear of it being lost in the mail: i was ok with that. But they made no effort to deliever them to me even when i asked. also they made no effort to offset my inconvience - like filling my car up with gas which 3 trips cost me a tank of gas. Which is ironic wouldn't they even would give me but $10 worth after buying a 30k car. Pretty pathetic. When i addressed my concerns with the finanace manager, the reasoning was cost cutting policies implemented due to the down turning economy. Ok, i even buy some of that but when do you stop providing customer service? I would thik you would put more effort in this area when the economy is as bad as it is. he also told me that since they are a discount dealer my experience can't be measured against the other dealer i had done business with. folks - to me it does not matter how much you spend on a car: 3k or 30k, customer services should always be above and beyond what the customer expects. There are to many red flags that i now realize in dealing with this dealer. You will be left unsatisified and don't settle for that is just the way we do business, bad economy or otherwise.

My new Santa Fe
by 10/23/2011
onI was ready to move up from a car to a SUV. The sales staff at Homer Skelton Hyundai were very patient (not pushy) and willing to take the time to help me find the perfect car. They even allowed me to drive it home for my husband to preview before making a final decision. Thank you John Honore for making this a pleasant buying experience and helping me move all that stuff from my old car to my new Santa Fe on a cold windy night.

2005 Tiberon
by 04/24/2009
onI purchased this from the dealer. No one is pushy, but the used car I purchased had tires that needed to be replaced. I was told this is how these tires suppose to look by the salesperson. I had to replace within 3 months. The price I paid was as much as a new one (2008). They did not mention this. I should have done more research and pulled the blue book value. It was right at the time to have service done to it. I was not told this. Within a month of purchasing a new car, I had to invest another $1500. This is why I got another car to begin with to avoid these fees. I tried to return the car due to several problems, I was told that I could trade in. They did not mention until the new contract showed me that they had tacked a $5000 loss on the new paperwork for the other car. Needless to say I was irrate and told them to fix the other car and gave them a list. They looked at it. Told me nothing was wrong with the car. You can see the Service Dept review for the rest of the story!
