I purchased an 08 Volkswagen Jetta from Denny Hecker's VW in Inver Grove. Shortly after my purchase Mr. Hecker decided to close his VW dealer in Inver Grove so now I'm stuck trying to find a new dealer to get my service done at. I head over to burnsville volkswagen because my wiper blades were streaking badly since the day I picked up my car. I was told on the phone that wipers are covered under warranty for 6mo/6k miles. I head over there without an appointment since I figured it was no big deal. I wait around for about 10 minutes while Jeremy Hanson (service adviser) clacked away at his computer. He then tells me he, "can't get on the system and I will have to come back." I live in Rosemount so this is about a 20 minute drive to get there. I say calmly agree and ask him that he call me when I can stop back in. He tells me that he will definitely call me and let me know. One week passes and I hear nothing. I call his direct number from the card he gave me and it goes straight to his voice mail. I wait and call back later and the same thing. I then call in to the main service line and wait on hold for 9 minutes and 46 seconds (I watched on my phone) finally the guy who answered was pretty decent. He told me Jeremy was on vacation and he would be back on Monday (01/05/09) and he would give me a call and I said no problem. I still have been polite and calm about the situation. Well it is now Tuesday (01/06/09) and I still haven't heard from him. I will be giving him a call shortly and expressing my dissatisfaction with his customer service. I personally am a service adviser at a ford dealer and can not believe the way these people are treating their customers. I would never go 1-2 weeks with out contacting one of my customers and making them feel that they are not important. I am nearing my 5k mile mark and need to get the service done and I will definitely not be bringing my vehicle to Brunsville Volkswagen.
