I was married for over 40 years to a wonderful man, who passed last september. He used to take care of all the auto issues & purchases. Now as a widow, I was concerned about being taken advantage of. My car was decent but getting old & high mileage, so I started looking for a new one. Draper was my first stop because that's where my late husband bought & serviced all our vehicles. That's when I met Michael Carriveau, a sales consultant in the chevy showroom. Michael answered my questions thoroughly and gave me alot more information than I would have ever thought to ask. Michael made me feel comfortable & at ease instantly, and is a great guy. He did not use any pressure at all, just showed me the cars. He was even so great, he let me take a car I was looking at to where my son works, and Michael explained everything to my son right there in the parking lot of his work! Like I said, Michael explained everything thoroughly, got me an incredible deal on my new Cruze, more than I expected for my trade and was simply a pleasure to work with. The finance manager was great as well, and even the sales manager thanked me for my business. Then, a few weeks later, I got invited to a new vehicle owner event, where all Draper customers over the last 3 months go to the dealership. Draper had dinner, door prizes, a tour, and Mr. Draper himself spoke to us, explained the history of the dealership, and personally thanked us all for our business. As for my car, I chose a 2011 Cruze LT, Ice Blue, and I absolutely love it! Great gas mileage, quiet & smooth ride...I love it, and I can't count the number of compliments I'm still getting on it. After about 2 months, I had a minor issue with the window switch in the passenger door, and the service department had the car in and done before their shuttle driver even got me home! As I said, I was extremely concerned about being taken advantage of being a widow in her 60's, but Michael and the entire staff at Draper was wonderful! I plan on having my Cruze for a long time, but when it's time to find another vehicle, (if I'm still around), I'm going to see Michael right off the bat. If you want to have all your questions answered properly, get a great deal on a car, and want to be treated like family, go see Michael and the folks at Draper. They will treat you right! These bad reviews here, pay no attention to them, they are too one-sided, and from my experience, not the least bit accurate, it's just sour grapes. And by the way, I got a FULL tank of gas with my Cruze :) If you are in the tri-cites and looking for a good deal and a great experience, do youself a favor and see Michael at Draper!
