I am taking my Toyota in for service for the first time in this area, so I hope this is not the norm. During my initial visit to get an estimate of work needed, they took 1-1/2 hrs longer than promised. The Service desk seemed unorganized and dealing with a lot of customer's complaints. Upon inquiry, they made subsequent promises that my vehicle was on its way up. Finally, I told them I was leaving to bring the car up or I was walking back to get it. When I was able to get an estimate of work needed, I was told I needed to pre-pay for the parts and then schedule an appointment for a future date to get repairs made - ok. When I called back to pre-pay for the parts so they could get the parts in time for my scheduled appointment, they would pick up the phone and put me straight into hold with out any verbal interaction; they routed me to other departments; and they actually connected me to another customer that was also on the terminal hold program (how does this happen??). I finally had to have the person that answers the main dealer phone number walk back to Service to see why I could not get them to answer. The Parts Desk finally looked up my service record and complained that the notes were so bad he could not be certain of the parts that were needed, a techician would need to look at it. They promised to call me back and I still have not heard back. So I suspect that when I show up for my appointment, they will tell me they don't have the parts and I will need to reschedule. I am now looking for another place to get service and came across these reviews.
