Re: What Deal should I expect on this Demo Quest? [marcogallo1986]

I haven't heard much about a Quest for 2010. The minivan market continues to shrink as many people are migrating to crossover vehicles. Of course the new car sales are down so much this year, who knows what is going to happen. You can keep your eye on this site for future news on the Quest: http://www.nissanhelp.com/Models/2008/Quest/Description.htm

Price sounds good. You may want to check what rebates are available. Based on the price you got from the dealer, there must be. The 400 miles on the van shouldn't be too much of an issue. The problem you run into now is the dealer will give you a great price but normally only for car already on the lot. They have their end of year numbers to worry about.
patiently waiting.

Yes, brand new '05's. Never titled, original window stickers still in the window and "clearance" banners adorning the windshields. I know of the changes to '06+, but thanks for mentioning it :) I looked at the KBB trade-in for such a vehicle, and it was coming in around $21K for my region. I would assume an uplift of around $2-3K or so due to the fact that it has never been titled and is still technically "new" (even though the '07s are on the lots now). I guess I will stop by and see what the story is on those units. Thanks!
'05 Mountaineer
by ryster on Mon Oct 09 16:32:24 PDT 2006
Hi! Local Mercury dealer has 3 BRAND NEW 2005 Mountaineers on the lot. I am looking at an '05 Convenience 4.0L AWD. Sticker is $32.6K. Any Ideas what a fair price would be on such a vehicle? With $4500 in incentives currently on the '06's, I was thinking that at least $8K if not $9K off of the '05 would be expected. Please let me know what you all think.
