Good morning car man, or anyone else who knows the answers: I am interested in leasing an 08 mercedes convertible, I am going through the mercedes dealership, Fort Worth Tx ,and will be using mercedes financial. I have been approved for a Tier 2 lease program with a money factor of .00280. After reading many other questions on this topic, I feel like they are giving me a terrible offer. For a 39 month lease with $6000 down 12K miles monthly pymt of $828.00 For a 39 month lease with $1200 down (which includes 1st and fees) 12K miles, monthly pymt of $967 month. MSRP 61,000 Cash price of vehicle (discount) 56505.00 Cap Reduction cost -waiting to hear from dealership Residual cost-waiting to hear from dealership Sales tax 6.25% Please help me!!!! I need advice Also my credit score is 635, they state that to get a tier 2 lease you have to have a 680 score of higher. However, I purchased a 03 clk convertible from same dealership with excellent payment history, so they will bump me to a tier 2. This doesn't sound right!!! Please advise Thank you so much

I have already sent out a price quote request and told them the exact options I was interested in. I mentioned that I'm in TX but would be willing to fly out immediately for the sale if they could do it at invoice. Now if the pricing difference were only a grand or so, I'd just assume buy locally as my hands are full and time is precious considering I just opened up my own medical practice.
Negotiating a C-Class
by yazzychic on Tue Feb 12 07:21:01 PST 2008
I'm looking to purchase a C-Class in Dallas, TX with the following options. Has anyone had any luck getting it close to invoice prices in Dallas...or in surrounding cities? I'm willing to drive to surrounding states. C300 Sport -- Arctic White with Black leather interior & aluminum trim -- Multimedia package -- P2 - Premium II -- 18" AMG wheels -- Automatic transmission -- Quickpark -- Rear spoiler Any advice on the best way to approach dealerships? I am a costco executive member...but would it be better for me to email the Internet Manager or Fleet Manager instead of getting a Sales person involved? Any help will be much appreciated...I haven't bought a new car in years, and really want to get the best deal possible. Thanks!!
2008 S550 w/AMG pak pricing
by jeffparker on Thu Jan 17 15:03:48 PST 2008
I'm in the market for an 08 S550. Options: - P2 - AMG Package - Wood/leather steering - Power rear/side window blinds The MSRP is $98,585 (incl. GGT). Any idea what I should pay for this? I am in Austin, TX and looking to go with MB Of Austin but have not heard too many flattering reviews about them. I'm also looking at Houston/Dallas dealerships. I'm good at bargaining, so I should be able to get a good deal. The question is WHAT's a good deal for this car? Thanks!

I got my CLK350 today, and I saw something interesting that the dealers arent telling you. There is a dealer rebate on a majority of the models, the rebate is to dealer only, and its about 3.5 grand perhaps even more depending on the models. Thats why they offer these rates at low prices. The form came somewhere from a NJ dealer, or perhaps from a MBF itself, but I think thats in TX.
