Agree on the candy to a child. Currently have an 06' R350 and will be replacing it with an 08', love it, however it's a 3rd car and we really don't need more miles.

My wife has a 1999 E320 with 67000 miles on it. We live righ tin the city (Boston) and she just doesn't put that many miles on it back and forth from work. So the 7500 mile lease makes sense for us.

Why would you buy (or lease) a car and then not be able to drive it? I bought an R Class at the end of February and have already put 1500 miles on it. I love it and love driving it! To me, these low mile lease deals are like giving candy to a child and then not letting him eat it.
Re: GL 320 cdi or 450 [mssurrey]

For the GL450, 33 months is the best term on this vehicle right now. 33 mo - Residual - 59% (15k-mi) - .00155 Base Rate (Add 2% for 12k-mi, add 3% for 10k-mi) A 12.25% discount is very aggressive on this vehicle! Let me know what state you live in and/or your local tax rate and I'd be happy to figure your lease payments based on the terms above. I need the MSRP.

Sounds ok but maybe not the best. A lot depends on the individual dealer, time of the year, local business conditions etc. Last July I located a 2006 E350 with 21,000 mi. It was a certified car from an out of state MB dealer. The original MSRP was $59,000. Bought the car for $36,900. It was really loaded with nav, keyless go,air suspension etc. Just passing this on for your info. Hope it helps. I don't mind traveling when this much money is involved to get the right car and price. This car also had the exact color and interior that we wanted so there was no compromise.
