HI, do you have any other information on how the $1500 incentive from MBCA can be utilized? I assume it can't be applied towards purchase or lease of vehicle? Thank you. Henry in Miami, FL

C2804matic 2007 Pricing But Not Many Questions Here
by rxke on Sun Feb 11 12:26:23 PST 2007
HI Carman It seems strange that the IS250AWD, the A$ quattro, the 328XI all have pages and pages of pricing questions but the C2804matic has only 2 pages. Is the C280 that bad? It does seem like there is much interest in the car. I was thinking about leasing one (15K for 36 months in NY) but I am begining to wonder. Carman do you have any insights? I already received the RV(54%) and tne money factor(.00105)from you. I read in Automotive News that they are giving dealers $2500 to $5000 back on the car. Have you heard anything? I am interested in your comments. Thanks
Expected cost for 2007 C350 sport model
by lee2007 on Thu Aug 03 16:50:16 PDT 2006
HI Everyone, I'm new to message board and found the recent discussions on 2006 C350 sport model pricing very useful. Does anyone have any suggestions on what is realistic for the 2007 models? Invoice/MSRP costs of base model and various options are similar/identical between 2006 and 2007. Thanks for your input, lee2007
Re: buy vs lease [edspider1]

HI: I was looking for a ongoing thread to add my new car buying experience and I spotted yours. First, I always buy rather than lease as I put too many miles on each year. In fact I keep cars until they are 'ready to take out behind the barn and shoot'. My car? a 2006 MB E-350: Not only is the engine new but the 7 speed tranny is too. We got 30 mpg on a recent trip thru the desert to Tucson! Any way price; we paid $8,000.00 under msrp. This has several ramifications. If you lease they wont give you such a deal. You will i believe pay the full price and lease off of that. Further any used one like mine will be priced based on the higher price whereas its true value is lower by that $8,000.00 new discount. In closing, it is a great car. Next time i will get more of the 'bells and whistles' as I trimmed back on this as my first Benz and wasn't sure how much i would like it.
Re: money factor [jccssc888]

HI jccssc888. Dealers are having a hard time giving the R-Class away right now. This works to your advantage as a consumer because Mercedes-Benz has been forced to provide quite a bit of support on it and dealers aren't making much on them. If you were to lease a 2006 R350 through Mercedes-Benz Credit right now for 39 months with 15,000 miles per year, its buy rate lease money factor and residual value should be .00285 and 60%, respectively. The best part about the incentives that are currently available on this model is that Mercedes has $5,000 dealer cash on it. Make sure to use this month to reduce the capitalized cost of the model that you are interested in. Car_man Host Smart Shopper / Prices Paid Forums
