Lease parameters for GL320 CDI: by banker71 on Sat May 03 21:30:58 PDT 2008; I am interested in leasing a 2008 GL320 CDI. I need current MF & residuals for 33 and 36 month leases at 10,000 and 12,000 miles. Dealer gave me numbers of 59% and .00185 for 12k and 33 mos. If I am reading other's posts correctly, I can do better. I cant be sure with the 33 (not 36) months though. Any advice on 33 vs. 36 mos? I am expecting to pay invoice for this truck in DC metro area- is this reasonable?

My Deal on C300 Luxury with P-1, Multimedia, IPOD, & Metallic Paint: by datkins on Tue Feb 19 04:26:47 PST 2008; Invoice price via Kelly - 36849 Selling price - 36560 plus Tax/Tags & 99.00 processing. I traded in a 2007 Honda Pilot, and was able to pretty much get same as Carmax offered - which was almost right at Kelly Blue Book price for Excellent condition vehicle. This deal was in the Washington DC metro area. I found at least 2 dealers were willing to quote via the internet at right around invoice for a C300. This is my first Mercedes, hopefully not the last. I'm liking it so far !! BTW, the Barolo Red is really a sweet color, you have to see it to really appreciate it, there aren't a lot on the lots from what I've seen. :)

Re: 2008 C-300 [vinnyny]: by mrxcel on Sun Oct 21 06:38:44 PDT 2007; Funny you mention the 6 speed, I wanted a 6 speed too, mine took 8 weeks to deliver b/c they did not have all the specs I wanted and they had to place the order to the factory in Germany, so I go it hot from the oven :) , I love the drive worth the wait for sure. My MF was about 8% but residuals are very high 68% for a 39 month lease, I did not have an amazing deal but I wanted the car so I was ok paying a little bit of a premium. I am in northern VA - Washington DC Area, I got my car in Tysons Corner.

I don't have it yet--it will be built the week of 21 June, and I should be able to pick it up around 4 July. I wanted Capri Blue or Barolo Red with a black interior, P1, and a hitch--and that combination did not exist anywhere (they can "see" every car that exists in the US, and every car coming down the line down in AL). I have an acquaintance down in the DC area who bought one of the first CDIs and is really thrilled with it. I checked with 4 other MB dealers in the area, and none of the others could order a 2007--all offered to order me a 2008--price TBD. I think if you're not fussy about color combos/options the deals will get better and better through the summer--my deal with Princeton was a good for both of us: I got exactly what I want, and they sold one of the last 2007s that'll come off the line well in advance. By Aug, when the 2008s are due to come out....they'd have to discount that 2007 more. By the end of the year last year, they were discounting the ML350s significantly (3K below invoice in some areas). In addition, if you don't mind buying a not quite new truck, 2007 fleet cars are just becoming available. I haven't seen any CDI fleet cars, but there have to be a few. Overall though, I think the CDI is more scarce than the 350. Probably they aren't making as many...and because of its better torque and the price of gas, lots of us are taking a close look. I also think it's worth noting that MB had a "friends and family deal" for employees during April...but none of the diesels were included, and that when I tried to use my insurance company's "negotiation" service, they told me the CDI is a "hot seller" and to expect to pay MSRP. There's good info on mbworld.org about the options that will be available on the 2008.

New Pricing Packages for ML 2007: by kris17 on Tue Sep 05 08:33:35 PDT 2006; It appears that MB is switching to a simplified package scheme. I am interest in a 2007 ML500, full leather and Package II in the DC area. I would be very appreciative to hear about individuals purchasing or leasing a similar model. I�m interested in leasing and am wondering if I can get this vehicle near invoice? Thanks
