Real Life Deal on E350
by jpdc on Wed Jun 25 14:33:28 PDT 2008
After going back and forth for a month between the E350 4Matic and the Audi A6, I just pulled the trigger on a 33 month lease for the Mercedes. The lease was nearly $200/month cheaper, primarily because the residual on the Mercedes was 9% better. FWIW, here are the details. E350 4Matic Black paint Black Interior Sports Package Premium 1 Burl walnut iPod MSRP -- $56,410 Invoice -- $52,552 Cap Cost -- $49,660 Monthly payment -- $591.92 ($538.11 + $53.81 use tax) 33 months MF -- .00030 RV -- 58% Inception Costs -- $407.97 (1st month + license fee + doc fee - $500 dealer credit) I know I probably left a few bucks on the table, but not much. Hope this helps. Also, if you're in the Washington, DC area, I recommend Euro Motorcars in Bethesda. Very professional. Contact me off line for the name of a salesman.
My Deal on C300 Luxury with P-1, Multimedia, IPOD, & Metallic Paint
by datkins on Tue Feb 19 04:26:47 PST 2008
Invoice price via Kelly - 36849 Selling price - 36560 plus Tax/Tags & 99.00 processing. I traded in a 2007 Honda Pilot, and was able to pretty much get same as Carmax offered - which was almost right at Kelly Blue Book price for Excellent condition vehicle. This deal was in the Washington DC metro area. I found at least 2 dealers were willing to quote via the internet at right around invoice for a C300. This is my first Mercedes, hopefully not the last. I'm liking it so far !! BTW, the Barolo Red is really a sweet color, you have to see it to really appreciate it, there aren't a lot on the lots from what I've seen. :)

Funny you mention the 6 speed, I wanted a 6 speed too, mine took 8 weeks to deliver b/c they did not have all the specs I wanted and they had to place the order to the factory in Germany, so I go it hot from the oven :) , I love the drive worth the wait for sure. My MF was about 8% but residuals are very high 68% for a 39 month lease, I did not have an amazing deal but I wanted the car so I was ok paying a little bit of a premium. I am in northern VA - Washington DC Area, I got my car in Tysons Corner.
March Deals

Any one know what the deal is with the March Leases? In December it was $3k back, in Jan/feb it was $2k with a smaller lease factor. Will March be a smaller lease factor and $3k? Anyone know?

For me that was the first offer. You should be able to get $1000 to $2000 more off. Ask for another $1000 and have them change the money factor if you are leasing. Otherwise, make an offer of $2500 more off and they will meet you in the middle. Remember they want to sell this week. It is the end of the month.

Euromotors in Bethesda, MD. I got the "I have people not making anything on this deal" speech but I A) don't believe it, think they are making about $1,500 at least and B) don't really care, I am not looking to make friends, I just want to buy a car. They offered me $49,500 on a $57,465 car that they had coming in next week. The guys reason was that it would not cost him any transportation cost (my car is coming from over a 1,000 miles away) and that it would be a simple transaction. That was with the higher money factor too. MD payments totaled $751.25 with nothing down. If you want I can send you the details of that offer. This trend is so dead. I haven't gotten any feedback.
