C300 4MATIC Sport, NJ

Hello, I just got my C300 4MATIC Sport from Prestige Paramus, NJ. As many guys already mentioned here Eric Laberge from Prestige is the best. I spend 6 days looking for a car in NJ/NJ/CT area. Here is the car I built and I spoke to at least 7 dealers in 100 miles radius. C300 4MATIC Sport (black) Wood Trim P1 Multimedia iPod MSPR (total): $42890 The best deal I got is from Prestige: 39m, 12K/year, $1911 down including 1st payment, $490 per month. Couple notes from my experience: - only few dealers give you price over phone or email; - Globe of Fairfield, NJ – worst experience, sales guy said something like this “how can I talk to you about your new car if I’m not even sure if you are going to buy it today?”; - Ray Catena – good guys, but the best they gave was ~$530/month; - MB of Fairfield, CT had the car with same price as Prestige, but they are 65 miles from me; - Other dealers could not even match the price from Prestige Thanks.

C300 Sport 4Matic Lease

Hi, I was going to lease the new A4, but the sales guy changed the numbers on me right before I signed. Anyways, I got a quote for a 2009 C300 4matic sport with P1 and wanted to know if this seemed ok. Zero down just the start ups which was around $1600 (1st month, plate, acquisition fee etc.) and he said with the Chrysler discount, 39months, 12,000 a year, it would be $458 a month. He told me the car's MSRP was around $40,000 and I was getting it far below invoice. Sales guy said every $1000 down would bring it down $30 and that the deal ends at the end of December. Also, I am waiting for a relative to see if he used up all his Chrysler discounts this year and the sales guy said he could "get me one" for $400. I spoke to some people and they said they have paid $100 for someone's "numbers", but $400 was too high. Does this lease sound fair? Should I get a quote from the dealer across town? If this price isn't working, I am going to have to get a CTS, but I would rather get this car. Thank you if anyone has any input and I am located in Michigan if that makes a difference.

A dealer today in CT told me the interest rates to lease an '08 R350s was 9% while the rates on an '09 are ~ 4.5%. I'm looking for an '08 and the associated $9,000 dealer incentives but if the interest rates through Mercedes Benz really are that high I may reevaluate. Can anyone confirm this info? By the way, my R500 is coming off lease next month and they quoted me a buyout of $28,100 with 22,000 miles. If I extend the lease for another year they want to RAISE my payment from a little over $600 to $697. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hey, I am also considering the '08 ML purchase or Lease howevr have been told how good the X5 with the smaller V6, 4 liter engine is.... why did you like it? and didn't you feel the Cayenne was BAD on fe? Nice car - though, I agree! Please give me your opinion? I don't know which car to buy and am not sure the BMW dealers around me (CT) will deal much (not like Mercedes is right now, that's for sure!) thanks, k
