Was the $36900 the total you paid out the door? What state was the dealer located? We bought ours in San Francisco. I've always wondered about buying a car out of state. Are there any complications or gotchas I need to be aware of? Looks like you got a sweet deal on a sweet ride.
Best price?

What would be a reasonable price for a 2008 350, P2, metallic paint, wood steering wheel, iPod connector, voice control, power trunk closure? I'm in the San Diego area, but can easily go to LA, San Francisco, Sacramento and surrounding areas. Are Internet deals better than that of dealers, or is that an "it depends" question? Thank you for your help! Richard
Bought '06 C230 what do you think?

Hi, Just left the dealership with a CPO Pewter C230 with sunroof package, entertainment package, lighting package, split/fold rear seats, heated front seats. Car was beautiful with only 8000 miles on it. They said the '06 MSRP was 36500 and they had 31.9 on the window. We got it for $27.5 --- which I thought was a healthy discount. We may have left some money on the table, but the whole process was great. Not much haggling at all (which is why I suspect we could've gotten it a little cheaper), but overall it was a great experience. Oh yes, this is here in the Bay Area, Northern california. what does everyone think of the deal ..and are there any tips on maintenance and such? We will be low mileage drivers. My folks average 8000 a year. Thanks

Just FYI, we just sold my wife's 2003 C230 Couple which was just like this one except 52,000 miles, but otherwise in perfect condition, Pewter with black leather, for $14,900. No interest higher than that. San Francisco area. Very surprised I had to go that low.

2004 C320

Just closed a deal on '04 C320, metallic paint, CD changer, sunroof package, leather inserts, $34343. RAB Motors, Marin County, CA. There are still some '04's on the lots that were delivered pre-price increase in Feb. '04. They quoted me about $1,000 less on those. Selling my baby, '93 190E. Rides like a limo. A few too many shop visits for me in the past year though. Time for her to go.. Hope I can get used to this new world of sport suspensions.
