Best price?: by runonmd1 on Wed Oct 24 21:04:26 PDT 2007; What would be a reasonable price for a 2008 350, P2, metallic paint, wood steering wheel, iPod connector, voice control, power trunk closure? I'm in the San Diego area, but can easily go to LA, San Francisco, Sacramento and surrounding areas. Are Internet deals better than that of dealers, or is that an "it depends" question? I found it on the internet under The Mercedes Benz Store. My car had 35 miles on it when I purchased. They delivered it to Sacramento and did all the paperwork at my home. The rules of the forum are that I can't give the name of the salesperson, but ask who did my deal. She did a thorough job and made it convenient for me. Since their prices were the lowest I found after considerable research I wasn't able to "haggle" much after the initial internet quote. Good luck dkdriver.

Why not give some dealers in Southern California a call? They are VERY competitive down there. Try Penske Motors - West Covina, CA. Also, Fletcher-Jones, Newport Beach, CA. Know exactly what model, options and colors you want beforehand and then deal only with the Internet/Fleet Manager over the phone or by e-mail! Most of the better ones will cut to the bottom line up front, and those that require a nudge may only need a small nudge to sharpen their pencil. Even if you later decide that it's too far to drive, perhaps you can get a quote (in writing) that you can use as leverage at a dealership nearer to your home.
