Re: GLK Rear-Wheel drive on Snow and Ice condition [hrocket2k] by p0926 on Sat Oct 30 20:03:11 PDT 2010

Can't say for sure. I don't think they really started selling the RWD models until last spring (my AWD GLK handled this past winter's record snow in DC with nary a problem). The GLK does have traction control so it shouldn't be too bad in snow and ice but obviously AWD or FWD would be the better option. -Frank

Re: Brakes / Price [aqan] by p0926 on Wed May 26 18:23:02 PDT 2010

The only "problem" I've noticed with the brakes is the front brakes create a fair amount of brake dust that is a pain to wash off. -Frank

Re: Has anyone of the readers traded C-300 for GLK? [be325] by p0926 on Mon Feb 08 16:17:30 PST 2010

We were looking at the C300 Sport prior to deciding on the GLK. The dash and instrumentation are nearly identical. We chose the GLK due to the higher riding height and the increased utility. -Frank

Sounds like a pretty good deal.

Re: great purchase experience great deal [brown1418] by p0926 on Fri Feb 05 13:05:40 PST 2010

Hmm, looks like that deal has expired :( On top of that, the 1.9% interest rate for 24-36 months has been replaced with a 2.9% rate and the rate for 37-66 months has gone up to 3.9% :( -Frank
