missh, Sorry for the delay in replying to your message. I actually made the deal after June 1st. I was going to buy from Brown's Fairfax Mazda, but they wouldn't give me the same deal after June 1st, so I went to Malloy in Woodbridge. They were very nice and I was able to negotiate with them. The salesman I worked with was Glorie Ramdas. My car was actually at Arlington Mazda, but Malloy traded with them so I could get it. I think you might be able to get the car cheaper if you already know what you want and where it is, but buy it from a competing dealer. Good luck!

We just got back from dealer... $34700. Add to that $359 dealer fee, Tax+Tag+ Destination fee. - car had 80 miles on it. Original MSRP was 40,340. Options includes MHR,RCK,WLK,BS1,1MC,2PA. $36,886 out the door. Including 3 year oil change and lifetime inspection. I think I could of push a bit more and got the destination fee waved of $635.

I guess Maine is more willing to sell than VA. Edmonds shows the invoice for the S Grand Touring AT as $19875 plus $650 destination, so LauraDavid's price was about $1000 below invoice. I wish I could have found that deal! I had the invoice price for this vehicle with all of the options I wanted at $22757. I was able to get it last week for $22167. Not as amazing as LauraDavid's but still $2000 less than the local dealer wanted for the same car. There was one deal in particular that helped me out in making an offer, so thanks for everyone who is willing to post, so that they can help others get a better deal.
2008.5 Grand Touring Hatch

Just picked up a Stormy Blue 2008.5 Grand Touring 5-door hatchback for $22,188 out the door. I was able to get them down to $21,000 for the car, which is actually under invoice. The car has the sunroof/Bose audio package, rear bumper guard, wheel locks and cargo net. I think I got a great deal. I bought from Malloy Mazda in Woodbridge, VA.
Can't get a good price for Mazda 3 s 5-door auto
by frizell on Sun Jun 01 06:36:19 PDT 2008
I have been looking for a Mazda 3 s hatch in VA. I just couldn't get the dealership to sell the car around high 16 or low 17. There isn't much price posting for the hatch, could someone share some price info and experience. Thanks :(
