ZS, where are you getting these quotes from? It's better than what I am seeing in western New York and PA. Looks like I'll be buying mine from out-of-state. I showed one of the car dealers here the $5500 off MSRP ad for CX-7's in Texas and they said that it was incredible deal. Also, it looks like Ford employees and friends get additional discounts too. ws46

Anybody having an issue locating a certain model only to be told by the dealer that certain states have new emission control issues that prevent the dealer from getting a car from another state? Went to the dealer the other day to find a Touring AWD, white with the black leather and bose/moon roof only to be told that there weren't any even second color choice of platinum. When I told him that I found one on the Mazda web-site in Detroit he gave me the new emissions standards line and that they won't even go to PA to get a car and I'm in NY. But they will go to MA or CT to get one. Any truth to the this or do they just not want to find the vehicle. Thanks for the help!

Got it for $17,900 after all rebates etc. This was the teaser vehicle to get people in the door and than try to get them into a higher priced vehicle ( the saleslady told me this). We took it as it was. The only options were a roofrack and the rear bumper step cover.

They have to push something to get people to buy this van and the Wind...I mean Freestar. The third row seat is the only part of it that has any type of innovation.

I didn't add that since the dealer arranged for the sunroof installation at the time of purchase, it was covered under the 3 yr/36k mile warranty.

Someone is living in the dark ages with the moonroof comment. I've had an aftermarket sunroof on my 94 Accord and 96 Expolorer. both of these units had more features then the factory and were cheaper by a couple of hundred. Drove the Accord for 63k plus miles and the Explorer for over 7 years and 145k miles. Neither one leaked or had any other issues.
