Re: 2010 CX-9 GT AWD, good deal? [cscokid]

I am also in the same area. What is the out the door price? Also, keep in mind that there are a few dealers in NJ that might give some better deals. Basically, in PA, the only fee on top of the tax that you should pay should be ~$200 title, registration, documentation fee. The $496 is bogus in my opinion.
2010 CX-9 AWD GT - Is this a good deal

Through the Mazda SPlan, I can get the following. MOONROOF/BOSE POWER OPEN/CLOSE REAR HATCH WHEEL LOCKS $50 Total MSRP: $37,500* S Plan Selling Price = $34,997 Tax in PA = $2,099.82 New Tags/Title/Doc Fee = $198.50 Total out the door S Plan Price = $37,295.32 and can use 1.9% Seems OK but not great, any thoughts?

Great. Can you please break down the OTD price for me? I was quoted $35,627 plus tax and tags for 2010 GT AWD with moonroof/bose, power liftgate package, plus roof rack, remote start, all weather mats, and wheel locks. However, you got more stuff and OTD would include tax and tags so you got a very good deal. Did you get the financing? Also, can you please tell me the state you are in? This was in PA near DE [if your dealer is in that area, please let me know the name] Thanks

Minji, this is not uncommon in NJ, the dealers don't like to 'deal' (almost like everything has been price fixed). I would try putting some low offers infront of some NY, PA dealers and see how you get on. Herb Chambers in Boston is also pretty good on deals albeit, it will be a drive. I got a price from them last Dec on an Odyssey EXL-RES last Dec, $7000 under MSRP. Noted it was a 2008 which Honda were giving dealers a $3,500 year end discount on but this was still well under invoice. I ended up getting the same price from a NYC dealer which saved me about a 7hrs round trip to get the car. I am currently negotiating with them on another vehicle currently and looking as though I'll be approx $2000 below invoice OTD. Hope this was of help. Rgds

We got ours about a month ago. but to rehash...here's the deal we got. Im in Jersey...We just bought a 2009 Awd Gt. Pearl Paint/Moonroof/GT Assist/Towing/All Weather Mats/Cargo Net/Cargo Mat/Rear Bumper Guard/Roof Rack/Remote Start/Splash Guards 41,877 sticker. Without any negotiation, We got it for 34,900. We took all of the cash that we were eligible for(all but the loyalty cash)We also got 3% financing up to 60 months. Only 125 dollars in additional fees. Other places wanted 500 in fees....Scott Mazda in Bethlehem PA(just over the border from Jersey.
Re: Best dealer in the NY/NJ/PA/CT/DE area? [rtwick]

Seems like what I am getting quoted in WI/IL AWD Touring Bose/Moon pearl/tan 33600-4K-1K loyalty. We have decided that if you don't want a Van this is one of the best values $/cargo space. Again the GM CUVs are a little bigger, but you can not get the same features for the price. I think it is a good price, but I have seen many Silver/Black and Blue out there so use your judgement, if they are not moving at that price and the 2010's come in I would bet you could save a couple more bucks.
