Just lease a 2008 CX-7 Sport FWD w/ power seat
by spi5 on Mon Mar 10 10:36:54 PDT 2008
My deal is $239 plus tax a month for 24 month 10.5k miles(23 months payment from my pocket actually). Dealer give me absolute $0 drive off so the first month payment and all other fee are being taken care by them from whatever rebate or so. Only down side is the car has 64 miles on it and dealer admit, despite it is 2008 model, it has been on their lot for over 180 days. That is why give a bit aggressive pricing. With total amount of payment $239x 23=5497 plus tax and nothing for drive off, I took the car and have them give me cargo cover. I saw petty much same the deal from them on the newspaper next day - http://newspaperads.mercurynews.com/ROP/ads.aspx?advid=596546&adid=5891890&subid- - - =20292455&type= I have to say, I really enjoy the car. Being a RX-8 owner for 4 years, I was worry that that might be a huge down grade for the fun of driving. However, it isn't. Test drove the TL, G35 and Accord before making this decision. I like CX-7 's usability and the fun to drive. With a lot cheaper price. I do not drive over 6k miles a year, so the poor gas mileage is OK for me.
I need feedback for 2008 Mazda CX-7 lease
by varloro on Thu Feb 28 07:18:23 PST 2008
After much disagreement with my wife, I finally broke down and leased a 2008 Mazda CX-7 sport for her {I don't "believe" in leases}. I think I got a fair deal but I would love some feedback from experts. Here are the details: 2008 CX-7 silver platinum sport, no tech package, MRSP $24858, my price $ 20,858 which the salesman said was a loss for them, residual value $16885 after 27 months, down payment $1901 includes all fees, 10, 500 miles/year, 15 cents each additional mile, I got a lease for 27 months at $198/month. I thought it was OK but I just wanted to check to see what others thought. I just don't know what the big deal is about the reduction in price from the MRSP if I am not buying the vehicle? I mean I am leasing the car not buying it so does it really matter? Forgive me if I sound ignorant about this but I really have no clue. All comments, good or bad, are appreciated. Thank you in advance.
CX-9 Sport FWD w Bose/ Moon

Looking for opinions... 2008 CX9 Sport - Galaxy Gray Mica: Moonroof and Bose Audio Package Back Up Camera w/Auto-Dimming Mirror Display Power Seat Roof Rails Retractable Cargo Cover MSRP: $33,265 Invoice: $30,539 Dealers: $30,000 to $30,900 Out of Door Price: $32,200 to $33,200 They are having the Backup camera installed at the dealer, since they can't find the car on my color with it in Texas. Am I being offered a good deal? :confuse: They have to drive the car 300 miles to get it here, since nobody in town has my color, is this usually OK? :confuse: Thanks a lot!!!

OK, I'm looking at the Mazda 6i SVE with automatic that Mazda is currently running a 24 month, 24000 mile lease special of 199 a month with 2199 down. But, if I just go by Edmunds figures for one with just a rear spoiler added, the MSRP is 21610 and TMV is 18260 with a 2000 rebate. But I'm guessing if I lease one, I only get to use the 1250 lease cash listed on Mazda's website. However, if I use that, roughly a 1200 trade-in and first-month payment down only, wouldn't it be possible to get a lower payment than that? I know you suggest not putting a lot down on a lease, but I'm not sure even with the available lease cash and first-months payment that I could come up with near the 199 a month. Plus, I don't need four cars in the driveway (well, three as my postal truck stays at the office) I really don't want to go 36 months, since I will likely have the money to upgrade to a BMW 330i convertible after this lease runs out.

The mazda6 07 sold for about 5000 off msrp a few months ago. I assume your car was a beater, So you have about a 5600+ off deal which for 2007 is OK. Nothing to get super excited over so if you aren't sold on the car go for it. Good luck --jjf
27 Month Lease on AWD Touring
by shakeel3 on Mon Jan 21 15:31:02 PST 2008
I wanted to share the deal I just signed. Hope I did OK. Dealer: Wayne Mazda of NJ Model: CX-9 Touring AWD Options: Moonroof/Bose Package MSRP: $35,360 Adjusted Cap Cost: $31,232 Residual Value: $22,630 (64%) Money Factor: 0.00101 Term: 27 months Sales Tax: 7% Total Monthly Payment: $399 Total due at signing: $1,250 I don't have the breakdown of what's included in the $1,250 due at signing yet. I'll have that when I pick up the car. The dealer is also picking up the remaining two payments on my current lease @ $370 a month so in theory one could probably do a bit better than what I did (i.e. lower adjusted cap cost). Thanks to everyone for posting their info.
