What Gives-2009 Mazda5 GT

We're in the Triangle in Raleigh, NC. I've been working hard with several dealers and no one can seem to go to 19500 like I've seen on the these posts (not including TTL, fees)...The lowest I've gotten is a GT with no extras for 21,109 plus TTL and fees.
NC lease rates for CX-7 Touring?
by patwhite on Thu May 28 10:25:03 PDT 2009
Hello, wife is looking at the CX-7 Touring and we got an initial quote of $25,570 if we take the rebates and not any special financing. Does anyone know what the money factors/residual are for the Raleigh NC area? Not sure yet if this price is good. The MSRP on the sticker is $29,820. Thank you!
08 or 09 Mazda3's
by redlinez on Wed Sep 10 05:59:52 PDT 2008
Here in Cary NC, I was offerred $500 below invoice on 08 or 09 3's. I'm also trying to drive a 09 Honda Fit sport 5 speed today. What sucks is when you're ready to buy with no trade (sold it), you can find a car to save your life. But when you have a trade in, everything's available, and you car isn't worth jack diddly. I had to rent a car yesterday.

I think good deals are based on the market value of the vehicle. If there is demand, there is no reason for a $11K discount on a such a good vehicle. Over here (Raleigh, NC) I see less CX-9s than new Highlander's, which is incredibly overpriced next to the CX-9.

I took delivery of a CX-9 08 GT yesterday. $30K for a GT (gt package, rses, remote start, roof rail, blind spot, wheel locks) listed for 40K. Raleigh-NC area. It only had 7 miles on the odo and was manufactured on Feb/08, so I can understand why the price drop. I am not a good negotiator, but my wife not wanting the car made all the difference (long story, she is happy now that she drove it back home.) There were a couple of units "used by the owner's wife" with 5000+ miles on them, where I believe one could try and go for $1K or $2K less.

nastacio, I'm looking to buy a 2008 CX-9 (or a Buick Enclave) myself in the very near future. I have the S-Plan and am in the Raleigh area too - very interested in what you find out or experience at the local dealers. There are things I like better about the CX-9 over the Enclave and vice-versa... it may come down to finding one or the other equipped the way I want and a dealer I can work with. Mike
