Is this a good deal?
by papalo on Tue Jul 03 12:42:57 PDT 2007
We're looking at a MX-5 Grand Touring soft-top (would love the hard-top, but they're charging up to $5K OVER MSRP in our area!), and have been offered the following: Stormy Blue Mica/Saddle leather Premium Package #2 Interior Trim Package 6-disc in-dash CD player/changer Run-flat tires All-weather floor mats ...for $27,176. We're not the best negotiators, but this seems like a good deal. Plus, I'm supposed to be getting an e-mail coupon for an additional $500 off, so that could theoretically bring the price down to $26,676. We'd like to have splash guards put on, but would it be pushing it to ask the dealership to throw that in? Thanks in advance! :)

I just came home with a 2008 Grand Touring AWD, Moonroof/Bose package, GT Assist package (Nav), roof rails, splash guards. MSRP $39,885. My payments are $560 (includes tax) for 36 months, 12000 miles a year, $0 out of pocket.

The Mazda3 is selling very well so I wouldn't hold your breath for a good lease deal.
incentives on 2005 vs. 2006 models?
by mazda6s on Sat Dec 03 22:27:39 PST 2005
It looks like in some areas of the country the incentives are getting pretty sweet on the 2006 models - $2000 plus a $500 gas card.

"As far as accelaration, the Mazda6 V6 is actually not faster then the 2.3L 4-cylinder Mazda3 because of the 500 pounds weight difference." Do you have some published stats to back this up? :confuse:
I wonder if Edmunds will ever have the 2006 Mazda6 pricing info?
