Re: Is this Good price for 2009 Mazda 6 i GT? [lrota] by mrchuck1 on Fri Mar 19 14:03:15 PDT 2010

TO IROTA: I mis-spoke when I said you must have the Touring Plus model. I thought you bought a 2010 model, which as you already know doesn't offer the 6 speed manual for 2010 models, but DID offer it for 2009 models. You really researched out the product line, and I commend you for it. Rarely do I find someone who really shops with knowledge, versus the norm who shop with only emotion,, and that is why auto salesmen have bad reps. I learned something from you, and thanks!! mc

Well...we ended up doing the following deal: 2009 CX-9 GT w/nav and sunroof Sticker $40300 39 mo - 510.78/mo w/2500 down (incl CT sales tax) 12000 mi I shopped this very aggressively and this was, by far, the best deal I could find. Given how bad leases are on other competitive models, I think we got a very fair deal for a very nice vehicle.

Good deal on 6i GT by jodony1 on Sat Jan 31 18:58:47 PST 2009

Just signed on a 6 i Grand Touring AT black on black leather with moonroof/bose for 36 months / 12k per year in greater NY area. Price: S-Plan price (available to anyone) $26,332 - $1,000 loyalty (for Mazda customers) - 850 lease incentive (for anyone) = $24,482 Money factor 36m/12k mi: 0.00023 (very low!) Residual 44% - not too bad. Monthly $342 (taxes upfront) (at 10k/y it would be $337) Taxes and fees upfront total $2300. Zoom zoom!

08 CX-7 , Loving the new car smell by fishhoppa on Mon Oct 20 13:34:15 PDT 2008

Just picked up the last '08 cx-7 on the lot! It's a FWD Touring w/Bose-Moonroof. Put in the best of U2 CD and could've sworn Edge was singing background right there in the back seat as we were driving along the highway - love, love, love the bose stereo. $7.5k off msrp of $27.2k +TTL. :) Was originally looking at a cx-9, but the prices were still outta my budgeted range. So as derrickson and supershawn have been saying, where else can you get a turbo cuv that drives nice and looks waaaaay cool for that price? ;) Experience with the dealership: I've only purchased 3 new cars in my life - counting the recent buy - and 2 of the 3 have been horrendous experiences. This purchase experience ranked way up there on the bad list. The only difference between this one versus my last purchase from 8 years ago was that I caught every "mis-step" the dealer tried to pull. Everything from an extra $500 lumped into the fees to an unneccessary credit pull and an addtional "requirement" to fill out a full credit app even though I was a 'cash' customer, to the final delivery of the vehicle where they tried to get me to sign a legally binding contract ladened with high financing terms (RISC-simple interest contract) by telling me it was the standard sales contract for taking delivery - even if I am a cash customer. What a crock of BS.

Red GT from Northern Indiana by hondax2 on Tue Apr 22 10:01:36 PDT 2008

From: Kennedy Mazda in Valparaiso, IN (far suburban Chicago) Mazda5 Grand Touring in Copper Red Options: Mirror w/Homelink and compass rear bumper guard cargo cover all-weather floormats Took the special financing: 1.9/3.9 Price including options: $22,450 Had to wait just less than a month for them to track down the color I wanted. The dealership was easy to work with--especially liked the sales manager. I was very pleased with the price. I almost feel guilty knowing how much our Canadian cousins are paying. However, I do owe several hundred dollars in medical bills at the moment...maybe, I don't feel so bad.
