I have you all beat...: by 2term8r on Tue May 06 21:08:57 PDT 2008; 2008 Hatch Touring w/ sunroof out the door for $19,000 here in MA (Got it for 17,955 and MSRP 20,200). But thats not all, the dealership is throwing in a 3 day/2night, air-fair, at the NewYork NewYork Hotel in Vegas. Beat that one! Bwahhahahahahaha (if you don't believe me here is the sight, I thought it was a BS and so didn't my sales person when they first offered it, but I've scanned over every single fine print and its perfectly legit) http://www.gallomazda.com Ideally I'd like to get more off the price rather than a mini-vacation, but beggars can't be choosers! Take that for an incentive.

No other fees. Not a demo - car had 6 miles on it. Original MSRP was 40,300. I did have a trade (97 Saab 9000 with 122K miles). I wanted 2K, we settled on 1K. I could have sold it on Craigslist, etc. but I didn't want to deal with it. So, not the best deal on the board but overall I got the exact color/options I wanted. I made the deal and drove it home. Yay!

In Harford County, MD I recently (April, 2008) purchased an '08 awd GT for $5,600 below list, $250 document fees, and no additional fees of any type. The vehicle msrp was $40,540 with options like sunroof, bose, GT assist, remote start, a/w mats, splash guards, autodim/homelink, etc.. The vehicle had 4 miles on it. If you do the math, that's more than $2K under invoice. Also, watch Mazda when they present you with the factory invoice. There are actually two invoices, a true invoice, and the one the dealer likes to show you (the one with nearly $400 of dealer advertising factored in. To me, that is not true invoice. Under true invoice, the deal amounted to more like $2.5K under invoice. Don't be afraid to tell them where you need to be "on the road", as long as the figure is realistic. Good luck!

Woo hoo! Before I start emailing dealers, I would like to cut to the chase if anyone already has been dealing with dealers dishing out offers for 1K under invoice. Any recommendations in MA? Thanks!

About to order: by newmazda on Mon Mar 24 11:05:08 PDT 2008; I am about to order a CX-9, AWD Touring with the Bose-Moon roof package. The prices people are posting look great, yet I just hope they are the same in my area. Are people in Massachusetts paying under invoice? I am a member of AAA and was told that price is a % over invoice and then I am eligible for $1000 rebate or 2.9% financing. Does anyone have pricing experience in MA or northern CT. Thank you for your help!!!
