Hello, Since it is end of month they will most likely make a deal, also the 05's will be coming out, there also is 4th of July sales to be had soon, but your urgency is probably very visible, and that can make a dealer get very excited with the dollar signs popping up in his head. You did the right thing by not buying today. I had an offer of a 6i from a Chicopee MA dealer for a little over $17K, but I think I like the 3 better beleive it or not, it just has a look to it, cannot figure it out. You can also get good deals on Accords now as they are working to get those off the lot. I have received a terrible response from the local Toyota dealers with their attitudes and have hence scratched Toyota from my list. I also got an offer today from Ford on a loadded 04 Taurus for a little over $15K. I would continue to look around, there are a couple local dealers in MA that have about 100 Mazda 3's on their lots with more coming in. Good Luck and let us know how you do.
