Re: Regional Incentives [bde1]: by drroblu on Fri Jul 17 21:24:34 PDT 2009; Last month, using the $1750 dealer incentive, bought a Sport AT for $17,144 OTD (which included $493 taxes) - Castle Ford/Mazda/Mitsubishi in Silver Spring, MD Also turned down Sport AT with popular equipment package for $17,354 OTD (again taxes included) - color on above car was better - Ourisman Mazda in Laurel, MD accounting for the options (about $600?), it seems those prices are still $500 more - i agree that there probably isn't a regional incentive - the "$3500" incentive quotes would be below MSRP, which would be about $2000 below - nothing new gl

Re: Mazda5: Prices Paid & Buying Experience [loomis1]: by drroblu on Mon Jun 15 19:28:42 PDT 2009; $1750 Dealer Incentive still in place for June- this last week, Dealers have been offering me $1250 difference between cash and special financing (also edmunds put it up within the last few days. 2 days ago, Bought Sport AT Copper Red for $17,144 OTD = $15754 + $670 destination + $100 Dealer Processing Charge + $93.50 Tags/Title + $493 Taxes Castle Ford/Mazda/Mitsubishi in Silver Spring, MD (I am VA Resident so 3% Tax -same OTD/location as msg 857) No Hassle, e-mailed me $17,364 quote ($15998 + fees/tax/tags/dest) 1st thing in AM, I called in a couple of hours, they got the car from another dealer while I arrived early, after car arrived with 80 miles on it - spent less than 1 hour start to finish - even knocked down $250 in less than 5 minutes mentioning other quotes btw, Ourisman Mazda in Laurel offered a Sport AT galaxy gray for $17,354 OTD with popular equipment package (6 CD) after we rejected the black down to $17,154 Both places were quiet (Castle had maybe 3 people come in 2 hours on a Saturday) - both were really willing to sell and not try to hassle me into equipment/warranties I didn't need Great time to buy! gl!

They both quoted me at 18200 plus or minus $50. I got my deal from Preston Mazda on the Eastern Shore, in Preson MD. Good luck! Still zooooming...

Long train ride to buy a car but coincidently I had some business down there anyway. They were clearing out their inventory of 2008's, looks like they have one 2008 CX-9 GT left for $30,605 if their website is up to date (along with other models). And they post the price right on their site which is how I found them. I put a deposit down site unseen but all went well. Great dealer, very straightforward and the fact that they post their clearance prices is awesome. Drove the car back and it is perfect, great car.

[cwakefield]: by zedzed1 on Fri Jan 02 08:22:43 PST 2009; Yes, here's what i got: (actually, only 8k off) CX-9 touring 2008 -MSRP $36,140 (DVD and Bose) Dealer discount -$7998 ($28,270) TTL (MD 6% tax) = $2,093 TOTAL delivered selling price=$30,240 +0% APR for 60 months (with a down payment of $4500 my monthly payments come out to $429 a month.) If i didn't take the 0% APR, I would have gotten a little more than $10,000 off MSRP. (my credit score was 715) This was from Castle Mazada in Silver Spring, Maryland. I called 4-5 dealers in the DC area and went to one other in Gaithersburg, but no one could come close to this price with 0% APR (the most they would take off was $2,000-$2,500) The salesperson told me that they were trying to get rid of this particular car. and that's why i was able to get this deal...
