Hi, Has anyone had success in negotiating the price of Mazda3 iTouring below the price quoted in Truecar.com? Can you share your experience & give tips please? My lowest quoted price near Silver Spring, MD for Auto iTouring is 17,400$ (taxes & tags & fees added in later). Thanks! T

Re: Pricing a 2011 s Sport hatchback; freight question, too [pupcrazy] by igozoomzoom on Tue Sep 14 11:49:12 PDT 2010

"(I'm still trying to find a 2010, but I'm getting discouraged)" Here's what I found within 50 miles or so of the DC area that fit your specs (2010 MZ3 s Sport 5-door, AT, Bose/Moonroof package). I found at least 7, but color choices are limited- Brown's Fairfax Mazda (Fairfax, VA)- Black/Black - $22,630 Sheehy Mazda (Marlow Heights, MD)- Black/Black - $22,680 (wheel locks- $50) Gaithersburg Mazda (Gaithersburg, MD)- Silver/Black and Black/Black -$22,680 Brown's Chantilly Mazda (Chantilly, VA)- has the following three: Black/Dune, $22,720 - ($50 wheel locks, $40 cargo net) Graphite/Black, $22,735 - ($50 wheel locks, $200 autodim mirror/compass) Crystal White Pearl/Black, $22,920 - ($50 wheel locks, $40 cargo net, $200 Pearl Paint Charge) Maybe one of those might work for you....good luck!

Re: mazda 3 itouring w/bose/sunroof [bimmer82] by crashburn07 on Sun Jul 18 17:44:33 PDT 2010

I paid $19,265 for a 2010 s Sport HB w/ moonroof/Bose package with NuCar Mazda in New Castle, DE. The best offer was about $350 better with a Castle Mazda in Silver Sping, MD. I realize that its not an i-touring, but since the s Sport is the higher trim, I feel your price should be lower by at least $500; especially since you probably have the 2.3L, while mine is the 2.5L. Get WRITTEN itemized pricing (apples to apples) with as many area dealers as you can and take the lowest ones to the higher one and try to get them to come down.

Basic Mazda 3 for $14,100 by lvp0085 on Sun Apr 25 09:41:22 PDT 2010

I bought a Mazda 3 i sport Auto with no options In Silver Spring, MD. Very simply put, I paid $14,100 for the car itself. OTD I paid $16,100 with all the basic fees/taxes. Also, 0% APR for 60 months when I financed with Mazda so I got the $500 cash back. Put down $6,000. The invoice I believe is around $16,000 depending which source you look at. I think I got a good deal. The funny thing is that another dealership (who i didn't buy from) hassled me and told me that price was too low and was below their cost, but what do I care about them? They tried to mark up their initial quote with mystery rebates. I heard that a friend's friend also paid about the same for the same thing
