Love our '04 LX/13,500 miles

We got our Titanium LX w/sports pkg.,side bags/traction, rack, LX-plus...just after Christmas(pre-rebate offers) for invoice(Really good dealer experience in Bel Air, MD). It's got almost 14,000 miles already & we really love it. Just back from the Adirondacks where we avg.'d 25mpg(no a/c). Handling was awesome! through the mts. near Lake Placid. Had trans. glitch fixed + psng. air bag recall. Otherwise, it's perfect. The titanium grey isn't spectacular(razor blue mpv's leave me w/some regret...also wish it had a pinstripe), but it doesn't show the dirt. Only minor complaint is that the armrests could use more padding...you can feel the skeleton inside & I worry about the durablility. Otherwise, we love it!

Bel Air, MD is probably too far for you, but I had a really good experience. '04 LX, w/ sport package, trac & side air...for invoice in late Dec. Dealt via the internet & phone. Salesman really understood the Edmunds.com-educated buyer. E-mail me directly & I'd be happy to supply the specifics that I can't post here.

Despite the recent rash of posts concerning the hard shifting problem, I bought an '04 LX, right off the boat, on 12/20. I had done extensive research using Edmunds, & other sites, and dealt exclusively through e-mail & phone. My salesman at Heritage Mazda in Bel Air, MD was great to work with & really understands the internet researcher/buyer. I'll gladly pass on his name if anyone e-mails me directly. Paid invoice on a Titanium LX w/ lx plus, traction & side bags, sports package, roof rack, bumper guard, & wheel locks.

I live in NE MD & I found a dealer in Bel Air who was willing to help me & has been great, so far, to work with. Earlier, a dealership in DE couldn't find ANY w/sports pkg., so the MD dealer atleast found one...maybe it was in Annapolis or Frederick? Anyway, I've pretty much decided to wait for an '04, which my dealer told me he could get for me at invoice...and then I'll have exactly what I want. Now I just have to find some official, NA photos so that I can see exaclty what I'm getting. Thanks again.
