What is included in this Value Package? The best deal is the Mazdaspeed 3. It can go to a HPDE and mix it up with 350Zs, Boxsters, and E36 M3s all day, return 23 mpg in everyday driving, and it's dirt cheap considering the level of performance you get. That's what I call a REAL Value Package... ;)

.00037 X 2400 = .88% Less than 1%.. Now, if the number is .0037, then that would be almost 9%

If you are looking for a fun convertible, it is hard to beat the Miata for the money.. I don't know why you couldn't sell a Miata, just like you could sell the Jeep. Sure, there may be a smaller market, but the cars are still popular. If it were me, I'd be looking for an '06 model for under $20K. Most Miatas are gently used, and it isn't that hard to find a nice one. Many people, as your salesman friend suggests, get tired of the convertible pretty quickly, and there always seems to be a nice selection of late model units. Are you getting a stick-shift?

Please read your buyer's order carefully and ask the dealer what the title/tag fee includes explicitly. Don't agree to anything else. This was at Mazda Roswell. I came away a rather happy customer originally but this small scam has really left a bad taste in my mouth. The way to avoid that problem is to negotiate an Out the Door(OTD) price. When I buy a car I determine the price I want to pay for the car(less the reasonable value of my trade, if any), the applicable sales tax, and any registration fees. I tell the salesperson that I am only interested in an OTD price. That way there are no surprises. The only number on the sales contract I care amount is the amount I will have to write the check for- the bottom line OTD figure.

Perhaps you could give me some lessons? Could I recommend a nice cheese to compliment your whine?
